Divine Appointments gathers Jacob Pesci’s 10,000 mile roadtrip into a dynamic publication — tracing how place, belief, and belonging shape the human condition today. This thoughtfully designed, clothbound, hardcover photo book explores connection, knowing, and loving within the modern American landscape. Alongside striking photographs, the book includes a work print as well as notes and reflections Pesci recorded on the road, offering an intimate glimpse into his process and the journey behind the images. This limited edition of 120 is available for presale.

sometimes it takes two years for an idea to fall from your head into your hands ~ the photos in this book were taken while visiting my mother in alaska in 2023 ~ we took turns capturing our adventures with a little @ilfordphoto analog film camera from @eastern_standard_photo (who also developed the images)

after printing them I made a linen covered front and back panel and stitched everything together ~ now I’m happy to share these photos of photos of places we visited

this book is an imperfect experiment but it was very sweet to make and I’m excited for upcoming book collaborations ✨
