Resurrected Chief 🌅💀 Tribal Pack 4 of 4 🪶 This OG Chief was cooked up by @god.sahn of the @fittedtribe for @hatclub 🧢 When I hit up @hcddjv about dropping a collection with my brothers, I only asked to design a skull chief. 💀 Hat Club took it a step further and gave me the honor of bringing back a classic front logo that hasn’t been used since 2015! 🔥 You already know I had to say yes. As their first Navajo ambassador, being trusted with this level of representation for my people is something I will forever be grateful for. 🙏🏽 The Resurrected Chief is inspired by my childhood. 🌄 These are my favorite colors from when I was a kid, pulled from the powwow regalia I built piece by piece with my mom, dad and relatives. 🪶❤️ You might have seen similar colors in a painting in my studio. 🎨 That painting is an artist’s rendition of 12 year old me that holds a lot of my personal values. Much love to @rh2rich Every crown in the Tribal Pack carries a piece of representation and story 📖 and I have a heart full of gratitude in announcing that this one is mine! 🖤 From photographer, filmmaker, and collector 📸🎬 to ambassador and intern, I have nothing but love for @hatclub This team has let me bring my whole self to the brand, from the Rez to the Hat Club HQ 🏜️ and I couldn’t have imagined dropping my first hat anywhere else, or with anyone other than Hat Club. Southwest 🌵🏜️ Tribal Pack 3 of 4 🪶 This Indianapolis Indians was crafted by @matacaps of the @fittedtribe for @hatclub 🧢 My first hat was more than a colorway. Las Piedras 🗿 Tribal Pack 2 of 4 🪶 This Atlanta Braves was crafted by @servando_bueno of the @fittedtribe for @hatclub 🧢 Look closer. There’s a story carved into this one. 🗿 I’ve always been fascinated by the stonework and craftsmanship left behind by Mesoamerican civilizations. The precision, the geometry and the fact that something carved centuries ago can still stop you in your tracks today. Quetzalcoatl was where the idea first started 🐍 When it came time to choose a team, the Atlanta tomahawk felt like the natural connection. From there, Las Piedras started taking shape. For me, this fitted became a way to take inspiration from the past and bring it into something I genuinely love today - The Fitted Culture 🧢 Seeing an idea that started with our history become an official Hat Club fitted is something I’ll never forget. Rez Kid 🏜️ Tribal Pack 1 of 4 🪶 This Kinston Indians made by ME! @brimwalkerdarius of @fittedtribe for @hatclub 🧢 When I started thinking about my first hat, I knew Indigenous representation had to be part of the crown. I wanted to get it right, and that starts with who I am as a Navajo man 🤎 I went back to being a kid and thought about my favorite colors and how Rez kids dress 👟 I wanted a hat any kid could rock, no matter what rez they’re from. Black and red were always my go-to colors ❤️🖤 I can still see myself as that kid, Dirt court at my grandma’s, hooping with my cousins 🏀 That memory lives in this hat. Designing this took me back to being a kid, thinking about what little Darius would rock 🎨 Life was simple. That simplicity carries into this hat, from the simple colors to the spirit I had as a kid.
