One of my favorite things is watching families come back year after year. Seeing little ones grow up in front of my camera is something I’ll never take for granted.

Meet Paul and Brenda Carey! ❤️

Brenda knew she wanted to become a nurse from the time she was four. Paul built a 30 year career as a firefighter, paramedic, engineer, SWAT medic, heavy rescue specialist, and fire marshal safety inspector. 💑

Their paths crossed for years before they finally dated, and in 2005 they married in Lake Tahoe. After 18 years in Park City, they found their retirement home at Entrada in 2021. 💍

Today, golf, hiking, friends, family, and Entrada life fill their days. ⛳

A chance phone call changed everything. 📲

Roger and Bonnie Head dated briefly in high school, then spent five years living separate lives before Roger called Bonnie's mother during a holiday visit. ❤️

Letters and a few reunions followed, eventually leading to marriage. 💍

Their adventures took them to remote Alaska, where "the whole village came to our wedding," Roger recalls, and later to Kayenta, where they found a community they were eager to serve. ✨

Their story is one of connection, curiosity, and a life well lived. 🫶

After more than three decades in business and years of raising their family in Illinois, the Thelanders followed their hearts west to Southern Utah. 👨 👩 👦 👦

Along the way, they experienced tremendous joy and profound loss, experiences that strengthened their faith and appreciation for family. 🙏

From Alaska's North Slope to the red cliffs of Kayenta, Roger and Bonnie Head have built a life filled with adventure, service, and community. ❤️

The former high school sweethearts reconnected after five years apart and have now been together for 59 years. 💑

Their journey has included an Inupiat wedding, building Anchorage's Hilltop Ski Area, raising three children, and giving back to numerous organizations. 👨 👩 👦 👦

"We've been happy with it ever since," Roger says of their Kayenta home. 🫶

I look forward every year to photographing high school seniors.

Every senior is different. Each has had their lifetime building toward the culminating year! Whether they’re headed to college, starting a career, or still figuring out what’s next, this is such an exciting season to capture.

This moment doesn’t last long, and it’s one where there are never regrets documenting.

Some love stories are worth the wait. ❤️

Dane and Patricia Van Pelt first met as high school sweethearts in Illinois, went their separate ways, raised families, and then found their way back to each other years later. 💑

Today, they enjoy life in Entrada surrounded by golf, travel, family visits, and lifelong friendships. As Patti says, "Our story is a very romantic one." 🫶
