I went the first 4 years of my business giving credit to myself for its success... and I'm never doing that again 😂 When I moved provinces, everything shifted, and I quickly realized it wasn’t me sustaining it, it was God all along.

Now, I choose to keep my faith as my source, especially in my business. I’ve learned that I can’t rely on my own strength the way I used to— its not sustainable! The way I do it now is with heart, consistency, and trust, knowing I’m not carrying it all on my own. And honestly, I’ll never go back to doing it how I used to, because this way brings more peace, clarity, and purpose into everything I do.

Even beyond faith, I think we all need something that keeps us steady and aligned. When you’re rooted in something deeper, it shows in how you lead, serve, and grow.

Final part coming next 🍒🍓🍉🍊🫐

Being in my 3rd year of teaching Sunday school and entering my 1st year of teaching in the lash industry, I’ve learned that joy shows up when you’re prepared and confident in what you’re doing. It’s not just about teaching or working, it’s about truly knowing and loving your craft 🤓🫶🏼

My approach to lashing is rooted in intention, education, and helping others build real confidence in their skills. I’ve learned that true skill comes from understanding, which is why I prioritize education that goes deeper than just technique !

Now I'm curious... where have YOU found joy in your work lately?

There's two more #fruitofthespirit to share so stick around 🤸🏻‍♀️ by @hcsbeauty

Learning to meet people where they are has been a journey from the work I do in my church to how it shows up in my business. In Sunday School, I noticed firsthand that everyone absorbs lessons differently, and that a patient, gentle approach can make all the difference.

Now, I carry that into my lash work, helping others learn and grow at their own pace. Whether it's helping clients enjoy their first lash experience or encouraging fellow artists who need a little boost :)

A special note for new artists:
Everyone learns at their own pace. Don’t rush yourself or compare your journey to someone else’s, or you might miss the flowers along the way. Patience and gentleness with yourself and your clients will make you not only a better lash artist but also someone people love learning from.

Stick around for part ✌🏼 to see the next fruit of the Spirit I’m bringing into the lash industry! 🍓🫐🍉 by @hcsbeauty

Wispy #halflashes with a shot of espresso ☕️ Not only are these half lashes for her BIRTHDAY weekend.... I wanted to make sure that they blended well with her natural lashes, since she requested that I only lash the outer half. I think next time, I'll add shorter lashes to blend the transition of her natural lashes → extensions a bit smoother.

Some people prefer the inner corner without lashes and that's ok! I can bring any lash look to life 😼

Would you wear this brown half set?

ya girl went from 6 clients and 12-hour lash days with no breakfast... to making time for God, worship, and teaching 🙌🏼

my day-to-day looks so different lately. finding balance between running a lash business and serving in church has been such a walk!

my burnout used to come from working aimlessly with nothing filling me back up, but now having a humble routine lets me pour and get poured into 💌 i didn’t realize that plugging my faith into my routine would also change how i do business — but growth looks different these days :)

what do you do to balance business and personal time?

#hcsbeauty #lashartist #lashbusinessowner #christiantok by @hcsbeauty

specialty sets = lash sets with spikes or lashes with advanced techniques 🦭 BTW, this tip right here will change how your wispy and anime sets look forever. narrow fans > wide fans when you want those spikes to stand out 🫵🏼

it’s the little things that make your sets look intentional.

if you've got questions, i got you! #hcsbeauty #lashartist #lashmentor #lasheducation #lashtips #lashstylist #lashbusiness #wispylashes #yeglashextensions by @hcsbeauty

one of the biggest mistakes i see (and lived) is treating spikes like wet lashes. plss let the spikes stand out!!

bold spikes will instantly bring attention and give the set its shape and personality. thin or hesitant spikes will disappear into the rest of the lashes, and you’ll lose that dramatic effect clients are asking for.

🫐 my tip: don’t let the technique intimidate you. and use QUALITY trays!
use stronger diameters (0.07 → 0.05 → 0.03) and if you need that extra impact, specialty curls and lash grouping can help your spikes pop even more.

drop a 🍓 if you want a spike tutorial?

if your spikes keep disappearing in anime or strip lash sets, it's probably the mega fans holding them back.

mega volume fans add too much density, which buries your spikes instead of letting them stand out. using smaller fans keeps the base lighter so your spikes stay sharp and poppin

have you noticed this in your wispy sets? #hcsbeauty #lashtips #lasheducation #lasheducator #animelashes #wispylashextensions #striplashlook #lashadvice by @hcsbeauty
