I was not born of Spanish decent. I have a heart full of love and connection for all the people that I know and do not know that are from all over these Latino countries. I have made friends and found to be in love with someone who is from Dominican Republic. I have been chosen to be honorary Dominican & Venezuelan. I could not be more proud and honored. The Latino culture is rich and so beautiful. Happy Hispanic Heritage month to all of my beautiful friends and family. You all are such a bright light in this world. ✨️🇩🇴✨️🇻🇪✨️

Without this wonderful human I would not be here. At times I have taken her for granted and overlooked her, but she has persevered in her love and commitment to me and for that I am forever grateful. It is her birthday and in this year of life, I am and have been thankfully reminded how special she is. Mama, I get to love you deeper, enjoy you fully, and be reminded of who I came from. The next trip around the sun has started for me. I got to spend it with the people I love the most in this life and I am so thankful. I am truly touched by all of the love on my birthday, from the ones I get to call my family (chosen and not chosen family) to the ones I have chosen in this life to be apart of my village. You all know who you are and I could not be more grateful.

This year brings some of the biggest final transitions of my life and I am looking forward to the future. This life is wild, fun, exhausting, happy, sad, and adventurous and I am looking forward to more of it with the best people by my side.
