Our little Olivia Iris was baptised. 🤍

Having our family and friends there to celebrate our smallest girl made the day even more special. And to her godfather, thank you for saying yes to such an important place in her life. We chose you because you are already such an important part of ours, and we know she will always have someone on her side.

Three months of Olivia Iris. 💜

Three months since she arrived and changed our family again. Her beginning was not the soft, quiet one I imagined. I had been on maternity leave for only two days when I had to be hospitalized for high blood pressure, so instead of enjoying these last days as a family of four, that period was filled with worry and missing my older babies.

Then two weeks later Olivia came, a little early and so tiny, and instead of going straight into enjoying the newborn days, we had intensive care, jaundice and more hospital days than I was ready for.

But here we are now. Three months of her tiny hands, her warm weight on my chest and the way she slowly became so familiar that I can't imagine she was ever not here. Three months of watching her brother and sister love her in their own loud, gentle, curious ways, while we all learn this new version of our family.

She is sick again now, with bronchitis for the second time in one month and I wish so much that these first months had been easier on her.

But today, I still want to celebrate her. Our baby girl has already taught us so much about patience, fear, love, and gratitude.
