4TH OVERALL COMMERCIAL EWE WV STATE FAIR ⛰️🪕 Every year, we strive to make our flock of roughly 30 blackface ewes as deep as possible and making fun additions. Bottom line, they all have to meet expectations both in the ring and as a mom for us to maximize our operation’s capacity and output. When we took a trip to Beattys this spring, we landed on this gal quickly. Even sweeter, when she went live on the private-bid-link sale and we were the only bidder, we felt we had left with the bargain buy of the sale! She sure has proved us right, and we credit that to her being bred from quality genetics and coming from an industry-leading operation. (Thank you Greg and Jamie) And thank you Callie for your patience of me digging through all those ewe lamb pens that day!🫣 From there, it became our job to get her into a quality home that could maximize her progress and growth, show her to the best of her ability, and make her into a female we will be proud to have standing at HD ShowStock for years to come and generating more winners for us. Gracey Moncrief was just that home! We are incredibly thankful for the hard work she has poured into this female all year for us. Her success was more than deserving! We are extremely optimistic about both the rest of their show season and the growth of our program! by @hdshowstock

Had an incredible haul in AI day yesterday at the HD ShowStock Headquarters! In total, we put 80 ewes on the rack and had 99% positive responses! Hoping for a lot of bred ewes and generous flushes for us and our friends who came to join in on the fun! Weather was as good as you’re gonna get for July! As always we send a big thanks out to our vet Dr. Nathan Ernst with Two-Doc Livestock for doing a superb job with the AI work and treating all 80 ewes like he would his own and ensuring the best route of success for them. We have used him for 2 years now and have both a great friendship and great results to show! We also thank all of our friends and show familys who pitched in to help make the day run smoothly! Blessed for all of them. THANK YOU! All of our fresh chilled arrived fairly timely and we were able to use all of it super confidently! Some of the best semen we have put in to date. Nothing under 75% Vitality! Fresh and frozen! Shoutout to the breeders of the following sires and the help of RSG for that! We appreciate your business and hard work in a busy time of year!
