We need Medicare for All, NOT just a public option. Many Democrats shy away from Medicare for All and advocate for a public option as a “Goldilocks” solution, when in reality, it won’t resolve the fundamental issue: that people can’t afford their care. Private insurance will fight against a public option and strangle it, which is why we must fight for a bolder vision in healthcare.

As Trump’s war in Iran continues to spiral out of control, he admits that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, none of this would be happening. Ilhan Omar’s residence in DC was raided by ICE earlier today as part of what Secretary Markwayne Mullin described as an investigation into her “family’s immigration documentation”. This is blatant weaponization of government against a political opponent. The administration has completely failed to offer any coherent explanation, leaving us to see this as the use of ICE to silence a progressive immigrant. We must abolish ICE.
