Jesus loves you and desires a relationship with you. There is nothing in this life worth missing Him over. No title, no achievement, no sin, no temporary comfort can compare to knowing Him! I truly need this reminder everyday!

Over the years, I’ve battled insecurity, anxiety, oppression, depression, the longing to belong, the temptations of the flesh, the eyes, and the pride of life. But I can boldly say: Jesus Christ can set us free from any and all bondage!

Following Jesus doesn’t mean life is free from hardship or temptation, or even the attacks of the enemy, but it means we no longer carry it alone. We stop searching for strength and answers in ourselves and we can start depending fully on the One who holds the world in His hands - the One who already overcame it all!

Healing and freedom are found in Jesus alone. In the ministry of Healed By Choice, I pray that we can choose to follow Jesus, to surrender, and to let His light shine into the darkest places of our hearts, so He may remove more of what’s unlike Him and replace it with His love, truth, and peace, preparing us for when He returns!

Would you like to be made new today?

PRAYER: LORD, I choose You. I give my life to You. Thank you for giving Your life for me and for saving me from sin, darkness, and shame. Thank You for Your love! I believe that you are the Son of God and that You died for my sins. I ask for Your Holy Spirit to come and live inside of me and make me new from the inside out. I invite You into my life, Jesus. Happy First day of Autumn friends!!! I can’t wait for this new season and all that the Lord has in store! 🍁🍂⭐️

This morning, I was thinking about new seasons of life and how the Lord remains the same even when everything around us feels different or new. As I look back, I remember being in different seasons with many questions and worries, yet the Word of God had always been a constant in the highs and lows! Even in the moments when it feels hard to pray or read His Word - He is still present and His Word is still alive! I feel like there are Bible verses that were declared over past situations and how they’re being applied to new circumstances today, which goes to show the living, breathing, power of the Word friends! Even in today’s worries, questions, and uncertainties, He has a plan!

How does everyone feel about entering a new season? Comment below! Even when places feel new to us, the Lord is all-knowing. He has seen the whole journey, and has already gone before us! I saw these birds on my way to school this morning and immediately thought of how the peace of God and His provision are woven into every corner of His creation. If He cares for the birds of the air, how much more would He care for us? 💛 Why would we worry when the Maker of the Universe calls us His own?🌾🥹✨🕊️

Happy Thursday, friends!

I remember hearing a quote like this before, and it stopped me in my tracks. I didn’t realize how much I allowed my mind to live in the past, wishing I could change things that aren’t in my control. I also didn’t realize how often I found myself looking into the future worrying about things that have not happened yet. I would get anxious about how things would turn out, and that was also out of my control.

In those moments, I was hindered from living in the present moment I was in. Have you ever felt that way before? Have you ever noticed that in your own life? How often do we dwell on the past and worry about the future, so much so that we’re not present today; we’re not focused on what God could be telling us today?

Sometimes the enemy likes to distract us with things completely out of our control, so we get stuck, confused, and entertained by noise in our minds, but the Lord wants us to release what we cannot control because ultimately He is Lord over our lives! God wants to tell us things today! He wants to guide us today in His plans and purposes, and living in the past and worrying about the future will often serve as a distraction from His still, small, voice today friends. The Lord provides bread for us today and everyday, His Mercies are new, and He will always be with us!!

Lately, I’ve found myself pausing whenever I notice I am dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. I will stop and say, “Lord, you are in control of all things. I ask that you speak to me and show me what I need to know for today. Thank You for the daily bread and thank You for your Mercy and Grace! I know that You’ve taken care of my past, and I know for sure that You’ve taken care of my future! You are also taking care of me right now. Allow me to see You today and to see where You’re taking me! I ask for Your guidance and wisdom in this moment! Amen. by @healedbychoice
