It’s day 5 of fasting, day 1 of my cycle. And I’ve officially entered into a wave of bliss.

Today has been a dry fast. Meaning nothing, no water or juice or smoothie.

This was recorded after a profound wave of bliss had washed over me, tears of the deepest gratitude, touching the edges of Samadhi is so blissful it hurts in the greatest way. ✨

My heart cracked open.

Today eye am One with the All.

The birds were orchestrating a beautiful dance around me, our energy moving through time and space harmoniously as one, the sky was communicating, there was no separation between me and everything around me.

We’ve become so distracted in our minds, that many live lifetimes separated, forgetting the bliss of their emptiness… Me too, I’m so grateful for this return. The greatest gift in this life. 📿🌹📿

3 years ago, @devotionalmothership was born in the darkest corners of my motherhood journey. ❤️‍🔥

It was born from the places within me that were asking to be witnessed, transformed, and brought back home.

Eye was so deeeply struggling as a mother.

As a single mother.
As a womban.

As a human carrying things eye didn’t even realize eye was carrying.

Motherhood brought me face-to-face with the most atrocious things within myself — the anger, the rage, the depression, the fear.

It revealed the imprints from my own childhood, the wounds and survival patterns living within my nervous system that eye had been cycling through for years… without even knowing.

Until motherhood became the mirror.

When my sun turned four, eye entered one of the darkest seasons of my life as eye moved through separation from his father, and became a single mother.

There were so many moments eye questioned if eye would be able to do it, alone, if eye could really make it through…

Something began to open within me around this time…

Eye began turning my gaze inward.
Eye began the sacred study of myself — the study of my own soul.

And as eye began to truly witness myself, eye became conscious of the patterns, the wounds, and the survival responses that had been living through me.

Then, after many years of resistance, eye committed to a daily practice — a choice that would forever change who eye am as a person let alone a mother.

Eye began my journey with the breath, and IT CHANGED ME!

Eye began meeting the places within me that had been holding fear, pain, and survival.

And slowly, eye became a different mother.

One with profound patience, an expanded capacity to be with life.

A womban no longer living at the mercy of every stress response.

Eye stopped yelling at my precious sun.

The very thing that once felt uncontrollable became the doorway to my deepest healing.

The breath became the bridge back to myself.

And this is why eye mentor womben now.

Because eye know what it feels like to lose yourself inside the experience of motherhood.

And eye know what becomes possible when you begin the journey home.

Kali Maa has taught me that my greatest fears are not mine.

She has guided me into true liberation.

It has only been through Her grace that eye have walked through fears that once felt impossible to face—fears that could have turned the average person to stone.

And still, She lovingly shows me there is more.

More freedom.
More illusion to see through.
More suffering to be liberated from.

Kali does not come to punish.

She comes to sever the deepest roots of fear, illusion, and bondage.

She is the Liberator of souls.

The very thing that imprisons us convinces us that freedom is impossible.

Until She shows us otherwise.

With Kali Maa, nothing is beyond liberation. ❤️‍🔥⚔️❤️‍🔥

Don’t ever let a single thought convince you that your freedom is out of reach.

KALI MAA used to scare me…

Eye didn’t understand Her until eye experienced the very forces She comes to face—the darkness, the distortions, the fierce energies within my own phyche.

As eye began entering amplified states of awareness, eye witnessed the magnitude of these false identities—the energies that convince us we are separate, small, afraid, or bound.

Different traditions have given them different names: the ego, demons, defects, aggregates, ahaṃkāras…

There was one experience where it became undeniably clear why Kali Maa is depicted with such intensity and fierceness.

In that moment, eye understood.

There could be no other force but Her to cut through what obscures the truth of my own soul.

It was a lived experience.

Today, eye have been chanting to Her and began a liquid fast for these nine sacred nights—a deeply devotional journey with the many faces of the Mother.

Life still unfolded. Eye mothered my sun. We picked up lunch, went to the lake, came home, and eye made dinner. Besides witnessing my mind gripping at the longing for food, it was a peaceful day.

Until bedtime.

My sun called his father, and it became apparent he had been heavily drinking again. This is part of a much longer story I’ve shared over the past several months on my personal account...

The fear came before eye could name it.

After getting my sun into bed, eye stepped into the shower and fell to my knees.

Ten years of carrying this same fear. Ten years of navigating an unstable and inconsistent co-parent.

Eye cried out to Her.

Immediately, eye knew this had happened on this day for a reason.

She is asking me to liberate another layer. To rise beyond where eye have been sitting.

Eye don’t know exactly what that looks like yet.

But eye know She is guiding me.

I’ve been waiting to share this story. 🌻

One day, my little ( not so little 🙂‍↕️ ) sunny and eye saw a thick stalk of a flower pop up from the ground down below our home right in the middle of a bunch of brush leaves… a bushy area… this isn’t our garden area, although we often throw plants and seeds down below into this bush…

We couldn’t tell at first, what kind of stalk it was… growing next to it looks like a corn stalk 👀…

Days later… we began to finally see that she looked like a stalk of a sunflower! 🌻 She was growing so thick, so strong! 🥹

We were so excited that this miraculous sunshine flower landed right below our home. 🥹 in the middle of brush, standing right at our entry way.

We waited, and waited, days and days went by…. and finally, A BUD!

We waited and waited….. again…. And….. days and days… checking on her each day…

And today!!!!

SHE POPPED OPEN!!!! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹

We drove up and looked and there she was, unfurling her petals. We both rejoiced in so much joy! She’s here!!!!! 😍

And guess what? Today marks the first of Gupt Navaratri—the Nine Hidden Nights of the Divine Mother. ✨🌹✨

For the next nine nights, we’ll be honoring the many sacred forms of the Devī through devotion, prayer, and remembrance. And on this very first day… she revealed herself. ❤️‍🔥

How glorious and magical is the Mother!!!!

Jai Ma! 🌻🌹❤️‍🔥🙂‍↕️🥹

Eternally grateful for Her joy, Her peace, Her blissings, Her Love that is eternal.

Tears, tears, tears, cleansing tears… ✨🕊️ 💧 🕊️✨

The Return is a Road….

Eye wouldn’t say less traveled so much anymore because many of us are being called now…

It’s a road that requires a deep surrendering, a willingness to sit in the fire, and be with the pain of the past, some pain that feels too big to hold, to soften into it, to allow your body to feel the sensations, to move the energy consciously, to surrender tears, to cry, and allow the salt of the holy waters of your body to cleanse you. To be restored.

Today eye sat.
For most of the day in deep prayer.

Not because it was just a beautiful chosen day for prayer but because eye know this space well, when fear and pain arises to be cleared, and the temptation of suffering knocks at the door… ⚔️

Instead, eye sat.
To be with it.

To give space for it to be seen, and to be purified by the Mother. 💧

Eye rested, studied a bit, but realized, this, what is surfacing, is ancient pain, a devotional clearing, renunciation, a holy dance, of observing it long enough for it to be seen and given up.

This holy dance is a Divine gift.

To have created a life where eye can sit with myself on an average Moonday to be with the feelings and pray to be purified, is a gift eye shed tears for, because this is what we need to heal, to return, is spaciousness, to be, to see, to pray, to chant, to sing, to breathe, to ask MahaDevi the Divine Mother to deliver us from the pain from the fears that have stolen the truth.

This dark moon 🌑 is seeming to be a powerful portal of transformation… something big is asking to be cleared, so that something luminous may return and be found again. ✨
