I’ve been reflecting on how it’s been OVER 4 years now (😱!!!!) living with a headache. One that flares up and down depending on so many variables but always there in the back of my mind (literally lmao) But I wanted to make this a positive check in!!! My body has carried me through so much this year (surgery on my uteruses - yes I have 2, and also a bit of travelling! & also just existing lol) I’ve realised that I’m able to just do more in general. E.g. I don’t just lie in bed in pain after work. I’m able to do things that bring me joy like read, bake something, go for a walk. I’m not a zombie 24/7 which has been so so nice πŸ“πŸ“šπŸ« I was able to travel and explore a brand new country for 4 whole days. I did flare up (quite badly) afterwards BUT I was able to make it through the 4 days without crashing at the time which is a huge leap in my recovery!! I’m so grateful for those around me who have taken time to understand and support me 😭 this injury/illness is so uncommon, under researched, and invisible!! that most of this has just been me trying to find different ways and methods of lifestyle that work for me!! There is still so much more recovering to go and I may never be back to my pre injury self and that is okay πŸ’žπŸ’ž just trying to grow into an even better version of myself that I never would have known existed if it weren’t for this injury :)) Anyways thank you for letting me brain dump and for being here πŸ«‚ by @healthy_mind_milly
