Waterfalls are something that makes most of us feel truly alive, the whole body just brightens up and stress, anxiety, nothing matters in that moment, you become one with the nature.
It gives you those rare experiences of life to feel that you are part of something bigger and all of this is for you.
and in today's day and age finding a waterfall which Is hidden and has least or no crowd, is almost impossible and when exploring along the Shayadri's when I and my friends came across this, I was in complete AWW, and utter surprise.
Just sitting there felt complete. Watching water falling looked nothing less than magic, this one is said to be one of the tallest waterfalls to exist in Maharashtra. by @healwithsatya

Mahadev to bas bhao ke bhukhe hain, tum unme puri tarah samarpit to hoke dekho.😇

This video isn’t meant to hurt anyone’s feelings.
It’s a reminder that we go to Kedarnath to meet Mahadev, not to make videos.
Especially inside the temple, where phones aren’t even allowed.
One moment in front of Mahadev can change a whole life. But that moment needs all of you. If half your mind is on recording, and half on not getting caught, how will you feel that oneness with Him?

I got scammed in Kedarnath.
And I don’t want you to make the same mistakes, so your yatra goes smoothly.

Doing Kedarnath is not easy.
I watched videos and vlogs, and called all my friends to ask anything and everything I could.
Most people will tell you which places to cover to make the most of Kedarnath.
But very rarely will someone tell you the mistakes they made.
That’s why I’m here.

Quick recap 👇

Carry warm clothes. I got a Decathlon jacket rated for -5°C, and it worked effortlessly for me. It cost around ₹3,300. Likewise, get trek pants and good trekking shoes that cover your ankles well, so you don’t get a moch or twist an ankle during the trek.
Go as light as possible. Carrying extra stuff “just to have options” only makes your trek heavier, and the whole experience worse.
Cash rakho. I kept ₹5,000 in hand, kyunki wahan network ka bharosa nahi, kabhi hai toh kabhi nahi. Surprisingly, raaste mein phir bhi network mil jaata hai.
Online stay book karne se pehle 2–3 jagah check karo. I booked the first property I saw on Booking.com, only to realise I had been scammed. Unless it’s peak season, you can also just book once you reach there.
Negotiate karo, bhai. Locals told me I could have got a room with an attached washroom for just ₹1,500.
Helicopter? 1–1.5 mahine pehle book karo. Sirf official IRCTC HeliYatra site se. Baaki sab scam hai, dost.
“VIP darshan” karwane wale bahut milenge. Paisa tabhi do jab tum main line mein aa jao. That’s exactly what I did: I paid ₹1,500 for 3 people, and it saved me 2–3 hours. But you can skip this too.
Trek ke baad tents mein change kar sakte ho, for just ₹10–50, so you’re fresh, dressed up and ready for darshan.
Darshan karke turant mat bhaago. Sit in the temple premises for a while.
Shaam ki aarti dekhe bina mat jaana. It’s divine. I was in tears when it started.
And don’t miss Baba Kaal Bhairav. The views are just too good.

You know, I didn’t feel anything at first glance.
But after the sparsh darshan, dheere dheere, as time passed,
I got goosebumps every single time I looked at the temple.

Try sitting near an Aghori baba. You might get answers to questions you’ve been carrying for a long time. by @healwithsatya

How to find an off-beat location:
The nearest off beat location is often the closest to the famous spots,

Hardly 200-500 meters away, just take a different trail.
Please make sure you are not doing this alone, you are in a group, and even better if you can get a local guide for your group.

Don't waste your weekends by sitting at home,
You can make the most by visiting an off-beat location anywhere in Sahyadri ranges Maharashtra.

These small big treks, a hike to a waterfall or a simple forest viewpoint gives you the much needed break your body needs and a connection your mind and body craves.

Plus it keeps you active and you get to know how fit you are too 🙃
