Recognition and positioning for founders
Helping experts become impossible to ignore
Authority before visibility.

POSTS STORIES REELS

For almost 30 years, I made other people impossible to ignore.

Then I realized I’d spent decades building everyone else’s reputation while keeping my own expertise behind the scenes.

Cute, right?

Turns out, even publicists need to take their own advice.

Today, I help accomplished founders, CEOs, and experts become known for the right things, trusted by the right people, and sought after for opportunities they actually want.

Because being exceptional at what you do is one thing.

Having a reputation that reflects it? That’s another.

And I believe you deserve both.

I’m KJ. And if you’re exceptional at what you do but still feel like the best-kept secret in your industry, you’re exactly who I work with.

Follow along. We’re going to change what people know you for. by @hearsaypr

Unpopular opinion from someone who’s spent almost 30 years in PR: You probably don’t need more publicity.

You need a better reason for people to remember you.

Because a Forbes feature won’t fix confusing positioning. A bigger audience won’t automatically make you more credible. And being everywhere means very little if nobody knows what to come to you for.

Visibility gets you seen.

Reputation gets you chosen.

That’s the difference between collecting attention and building authority that actually creates opportunities.

And it’s the work I do now.

If your reputation hasn’t caught up with your expertise, we should talk.

I didn’t spend three decades in PR to tell you that you need another media list.

You need to know what the hell you want to be known for.

And more importantly, whether the rest of the world sees you that way.

That’s why I created the Recognition Report & Roadmap™.

It’s a deep dive into your existing reputation, the gaps between your expertise and how you’re perceived, and the opportunities you’re leaving on the table.

You walk away with a clear reputation strategy and a 90-day roadmap to put it to work.

No random tactics. No chasing attention for the sake of attention. No 47 press hits that change absolutely nothing.

Just a smarter way to become known, trusted, and in demand.

Ready for your reputation to catch up with your work?

Different industries. Different stages. The same outcome.

Clarity. Confidence. Credibility.

These clients didn’t need louder messaging or more content. They needed language that reflected the quality of their work. And a strategy that helped the right people see it.

That’s the work we do at Hearsay PR.

Not chasing attention. Not forcing visibility. Helping exceptional founders articulate what makes them worth paying attention to in the first place. by @hearsaypr

Hearsay PR believes visibility should be earned, not manufactured.

PR isn’t about chasing attention, gaming algorithms, or being everywhere at once. It’s about trust. Credibility. And being understood by the people who matter.

We believe:
• Clarity beats cleverness
• Authority compounds when it’s positioned well
• The strongest brands don’t shout, they resonate
• Visibility should support the business, not exhaust it

That’s why our work starts with language, positioning, and strategy. Not tactics.

When people understand what you do and why it matters, opportunities follow naturally. Media listens. Clients lean in. Decisions get easier.

This is credibility-first PR. And it’s how we help founders and experts build visibility that lasts. by @hearsaypr

You can be excellent at what you do and still be overlooked.

Not because your work isn’t strong. Not because you’re not visible enough. But because your expertise isn’t being communicated clearly or positioned with intention.

This is the gap we see most often.

Founders and experts who:
• Are doing high-level work but struggle to explain it simply
• Feel too close to their business to see it objectively
• Are visible, but not being taken seriously at the level they want
• Know something isn’t clicking, but can’t pinpoint what

It’s frustrating, and it’s incredibly common.

The issue isn’t effort or talent. It’s clarity.

When your language, positioning, and visibility strategy align, things shift quickly. People understand what you do. The right opportunities find you. Conversations get easier.

That’s the problem Hearsay PR exists to solve. by @hearsaypr

There’s a reason our work starts with clarity, not tactics. At Hearsay PR, everything follows a simple framework.

First, we clarify your expertise and language so you can communicate your value with confidence.

Then, we position you so the right people immediately understand why you’re the obvious choice.

Finally, we activate that clarity through intentional visibility and PR. Not noise.

This process helps clients:
• Stop guessing what to say
• Show up with confidence and consistency
• Attract better-fit opportunities
• Build credibility that lasts

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing the right things, in the right order. by @hearsaypr

Most of our work doesn’t look flashy. And that’s intentional.

This is what it usually looks like: conversations, refinement, asking better questions, slowing things down long enough to get clear.

Clients often come in thinking they need more. More content, more pitches, more visibility.

What they usually need is clarity.

There’s almost always a moment in the process when someone pauses and says, “Oh… that’s what I’ve been trying to say.”

That shift matters.

Because when the language clicks, everything else gets easier. Including decisions, visibility, confidence, momentum.

This is the work at Hearsay PR. Thoughtful. Strategic. Built around trust, not urgency. by @hearsaypr

The biggest shift our clients experience isn’t just visibility, it’s confidence.

Before working together, many feel stuck in the same loop: doing excellent work, but struggling to explain it clearly or position it at the level it deserves.

After clarity and strategy are in place, things change quickly.

Language clicks. Decisions get easier. Opportunities start to align.

This isn’t about becoming someone new. It’s about finally being understood.

That’s the transformation Hearsay PR is built to deliver. by @hearsaypr

Results don’t come from doing more. They come from doing the right things in the right order.

When clarity, positioning, and strategy are aligned, clients start to see consistent shifts:
• Higher-quality inquiries
• More confident conversations
• Media and visibility that reflect their level
• Momentum that builds instead of burns out

These outcomes aren’t accidental, they’re the result of a credibility-first approach to PR.
