⚠️ SCAM WARNING FOR BREEDERS/SELLERS ⚠️

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up about a scam attempt we had today.

Someone contacted me claiming they found one of our animals on MorphMarket and wanted to purchase it for $3,500. Everything seemed fairly normal at first. They asked for my Venmo information and then claimed they had sent payment.

Immediately afterward, I received a very convincing looking text claiming to be from Venmo saying the $3,500 payment was pending and that I needed to contact “Venmo Support.”

When I called the number, the supposed Venmo representative told me there was an issue with my account and tried to get money from me. Meanwhile, the “buyer” was texting me, claiming he was also speaking with Venmo and telling me about an additional $500 that supposedly needed to be sent to expand/upgrade my account.

None of this was real. No payment ever appeared in my Venmo account.

The buyer and fake Venmo support appeared to be working together. The goal was essentially to convince me that $4,000 had been sent so I would send $500 of my own money back.

Thankfully, I didn’t send them anything and the animal never left my possession.

Please be careful, especially if you’re selling animals online. Never trust a payment confirmation text or email. Open the payment app yourself and verify that the money is actually in your account. Never call a “support” number sent to you in a text, and never send money to a buyer because they supposedly overpaid or needed to “upgrade” your account.

I’m sharing this because the setup was coordinated enough that I could absolutely see someone getting caught by it. Please pass this along to other breeders and sellers. by @heart_of_the_python

Daytona 2026 🐍🖤 What a weekend.

We came for the snakes… but weekends like this remind us that the reptile community is about so much more than what’s on the table.

We caught up with old friends, made some new ones, talked genetics, shared projects, met people who have been following Heart of the Python from afar, and sent some incredible animals home with their new families.

There’s something pretty special about being surrounded by people who get just as excited about these animals as we do.

To everyone who stopped at our table, talked snakes with us, supported us, or simply came over to say hello: thank you. You’re a huge part of what makes traveling all this way worth it.

Daytona, you were good to us. 🖤

Now the come see Heart of the Python next at @allamericanreptileandplantexpo this week !!👀🐍

Daytona… we’re bringing some serious eye candy. 👀🐍🌴

Just a little preview of some of the Banana Calicos and Pieds making the trip with us to Daytona this weekend. 😍

And yes… choosing which ones actually make it onto the available table is getting harder.

Beautiful snakes will always catch our attention, but at Heart of the Python, we’re just as interested in the animal behind the genetics. Our babies are raised with the goal of producing confident, curious snakes that are prepared to become incredible companions.

So swipe through and tell us…

👀 Which one would make you stop at our table?

If you’re heading to Daytona, come meet them in person, talk snakes with us, and see if one of these babies chooses you. ❤️🐍

We’ll see you this weekend, Daytona!

✨ Every great trainer chooses their Eeveelution… every great keeper chooses their snake. 🐍⚡🍃🔥💧

This weekend at the Southeast Reptile Expo, we’ve reimagined some of our favorite animals as Eeveelutions, and we can’t wait to share them with you!

Whether you’re drawn to the calm of Leafeon, the spark of Jolteon, or another favorite, stop by our table to see which “Eeveelution” matches your style.

And while you’re there, meet the real stars of the show: our HeartLine ball pythons, selectively bred for exceptional temperament and stunning genetics.

✨ Which Eeveelution would you choose?

A first for Heart of the Python… twins. 🐍🐍🥚

After years of breeding ball pythons, we finally hatched our very first set of twins.

One egg. Two healthy babies.

Ball python twins are incredibly rare, and seeing two little heads emerge from the same egg was a moment we’ll never forget.

At just 35 g and 25 g, these little ones are tiny—well below the size of a typical hatchling—but they’re active and off to a great start. We’ll be watching them closely over the coming weeks and can’t wait to see how they develop.

It’s moments like these that remind us that nature always has a few surprises left.

Have you ever hatched a set of twins? by @heart_of_the_python
