Days of testing Glass Paints!

It's interesting, when I started researching how to paint on glass, there was not much info! I wanted an opaque look. And all the glass paint in South Africa is translucent. There are opaque glass paints for sale overseas, but they are too expensive to ship in. So, I started experimenting! I needed something that looks good AND doesn't wash off when rinsed with water!

Finally I found the perfect combo! 😊🥂

Come join us on Thursday and paint your own glass, olive oil bottle or vase 🎨

Spent the day painting this commissioned piece.
Acrylic on Canvas.
I first drew the pencil outlines, then I added a watered down layer of paint to act as a primer. This allows the next layers to adhere to the canvas alot easier.
Now for the figures 😊💕
