Today my parents surprise my boy dj with a goal. The same way they invested into my dreams they did for him. He immediately wanted to get some work. Having his older brothers there to push him was cool to see. Cherish your family and the moments you have. Time the one thing we can’t get back. Grateful. Shout out to moms with the jumper. A few days ago I found out that all my cartilage was gone in both knees. A lot of miles playing at a high level. All apart of it. Was wondering why it was so hard to run without pain. I got invited to come check out @shoot360.sbc and man the rest was history. Now I can get my cardio in without all the wear and tear and it’s a super good workout. Young ones, go sign up! This is the best self sufficient work you can ask for! I’ve always been big on repetition during my playing days and even as a trainer that mindset still applies. Shoot 360 can really take your shot to another level. The amount of reps you can get in a day is worth it. If you haven’t signed up, don’t miss another day or opportunity to get better. Happy birthday pop. Growing up I didn’t have many friends, but you stepped in and fulfilled that role and I’m forever grateful to you for that. All the high school football games that we attended I’ll never forget. My real day 1. The real definition of being present. Watching this bossier tourney bracket style has brought back the memories. Winning the MVP of this tournament back in 2002 as a sophomore was one of my biggest accomplishments because this event brought out the best in the area. The match ups, the crowds , and the last tourney before the district run. Always set the tone for the finish of the season. Watching as a young kid myself , then being apart of this classic and now watching the young killas battle it out is just a good experience. It’s no tourney like the bossier invitational. It’s where respect is earned. Keep pushing killas. Y’all really brought the feel back to the area. Finish strong. #HeartWork by @heartwork_ty

As this high school season starts with all this high level talent around, it brought me back to my journey. One thing I remember about playing ball in my state was if you was labeled to be that guy, you had to prove it every single night! No one cared about your title. You had to strap up and show who you were night in and night out. I can honestly say coming up in the state of Louisiana prepared me for the D1 and pro level like no other and I’m so thankful for my city! It’s really some dogs here and you gone quickly find out who you are around these parts. To all the killas this year, stand on all 10 in this smoke and LIVE in the gym before and after practice to get your reps and be intentional about your work! It’s gone prepare you like no other!
