This slipover was inspired by a Reel that popped up here on my Insta feed, but unfortunately I don‘t remember who posted it.😖 So I had to figure out for myself what to do.
I just knitted bottom up in rounds with a couple of german short rows on the back and then devided for the armholes. I sewed the shoulders together and used a 2by2 rip for the turtleneck and the armholes.
It’s VERY oversized and goes perfectly with jeans; you can wear it as a warm layer over a T-Shirt, a long-sleeved shirt, or even a thin pullover.
It is knitted entirely from leftover yarns - always one strand of Plötulopi or Nutiden or Drops Air combined with one or two strands of silk mohair or setasuri.
I am so happy it turned out exactly as I imagined! Now the colder season can come anytime 🍂😊

91 triangles so far…!😅 This is the #pirouetteshawl by @purlsoho using sockyarn from my stash.
I am making a slight modification though and knitting just one large triangle, so I won’t have too much bulk around my neck later on. (The original has four corners and is folded in half.)
I make 3-4 triangles each day, and then switch to another #wip - otherwise I‘ll dream of colorful triangles at night 😉🔺

Today is #wipwednesday and I‘m currently knitting the #pirouetteshawl by @purlsoho 🤩
What can I say… it’s addictive! Just one more triangle, and then another, and then the question: what’s the next color??? It’s exactly my kind of thing!🥰

Another #albertasummersweater by @buzzaknits just hopped of my needles 😊 I knitted the first one quite a while ago back in 2020. But it was so worn out, that I needed a new one. And I am happy with the result😊💛🧡
Yarn: 1 strand of Drops Fabel and 1 strand of Drops Kidsilk.
This is a free pattern on @hi.ravelry 🧡

After knitting #heimathafensweater and #baobaoshawl by @lilalu72 , I saw Jen‘s post (@every.thing.shapes.us ) where she used the stitch pattern to knit socks. I loved this idea so much that I just had to try it myself. Here‘s the result💚🧡🩷
