Hello! I live in Cincinnati now, but I’m from southern West Virginia, the Mountaineer state!💙💛

After serving in the United States Air Force, my daddy moved us back to his hometown.🇺🇸 I lived in Small Town USA for 40 years before moving to New Jersey with my husband @clymer2009.

🤯Talk about culture shock!

Now we are looking for our own piece of the American dream in the outskirts of Cincinnati after chasing his dream, all the way to Coldstream Country Club.⛳️🏡

I went to West Virginia this week to get my hair and nails done… and somehow came home looking refreshed but feeling like I’d been hit by a truck. 😂

For the very first time, I got to babysit BOTH Cade Thomas and Cassidy Jane! 💜

Y’all. It was WILD. 😂 Cade fought the air while saying “ninja” the whole time 🥷🏻 Cassidy and I just watch with big eyes. 👀 The day before, Magnolia wasn’t feelin our typical morning selfie session, but she’s cute anyway🤷🏻‍♀️

My arms were full, my heart was fuller, and my back is still recovering from all that baby holding! Gramsy is officially exhausted. 💪🏼🤣 Sorry that I forgot to take my muscle peptide while I was there

While I was there, our sweet Cassidy Jane turned 9 months old! 🥹 Her big brother Cade Thomas is already 3½, and our Magnolia June celebrated her SECOND birthday last month!

Somebody please tell me who gave these babies permission to grow up so fast?!

Three grandbabies. Three completely different little personalities. And one very tired, ridiculously blessed Gramsy. 🥰

I’d do it all over again tomorrow. But maybe after a massage and another good night’s sleep. 😂💕 by @heather__clymer

Momma’s backyard is still full of childhood, laughter, and little feet. Just a new generation. 🥹💜

I think that's one of the sweetest ways a home can carry on someone's legacy.

And I love that Grace thought to capture this moment. She clearly felt something special about it, too. by @heather__clymer

A little Halloween magic in the middle of the Queen City! 🧡🎃🤎✨

@macy.belcher brought a couple of friends home with her this past weekend and Friday night was one for the memory books! Dinner at Carrabba‘s followed by the Cincinnati Zoo’s @jackolanternglow, featuring more than 6,000 handcarved pumpkins! Literally jaw dropping!🤩

A sweet stranger surprised us with free carousel tickets, and the giraffes even made expected appearance 🦒🦒🎠

Definitely worth the trip to downtown! It was bewitching🧙🏼‍♀️ by @heather__clymer

Space X was seen flying over Jon’s golf course here in Cincinnati this morning! 🚀 👨‍🚀 by @heather__clymer

We walked right past this place earlier in the day and had NO idea what was hiding inside. From the street, @chezfrancoistouchebistro looks like an unassuming farmhouse style place tucked into the hillside just above the river.

Then you walk inside. 😍

Dark old timbers, stone, candlelight, white linens and deep burgundy drapes. Old-world France hiding in little Vermilion, Ohio.

Our five-course dinner started with the tiniest pumpkin and Parmigiano-Reggiano amuse-bouche, and MY GOODNESS… that little thing packed a punch. 🤤 That pretty much set the tone for the entire meal. Every course was so flavorful that somehow my perfectly cooked filet seemed ordinary.

The service was spectacular. The kind where they somehow know exactly when you need them, but won’t even approach the table while you’re chewing. I had a Hugo Spritz that tasted like fall in a glass 🍁 and Jon had a French Lemonade that was unexpectedly savory and delicious.

And then Susie, the manager, insisted on taking our picture… which quickly turned into a full-on photo shoot. 😂 She posed us, found the best lighting and absolutely fawned over us. She was precious. 🥰

We went for an anniversary dinner and left feeling completely spoiled.

Romantic. Intimate. Positively sinful. 💜

Eight years. 🥰

Not long after Jon and I got married, I Could Not Ask for More came on the radio while we were in the car. I was singing along like I had a hundred times before, and suddenly I realized something.

This time, the words were true.

I had what that song was describing.

Tears started flowing and I could not stop them for the rest of the song 🥹

Eight years later, it still gets me.

Yesterday, sitting together watching the Bengals, I thought about it again. We’re still in love. We’re still dating. We still hold hands. And we still choose each other on a daily basis.

I love and admire this man for the way he continues to choose me and us, and for the way he protects my heart. I’ll never take that for granted.

So every once in a while, I send him that song. I hope he remembers that day in the car and knows exactly what I mean.

Eight years later, I still could not ask for more.

Happy anniversary, Jon. I love you always💜💚🥰 by @heather__clymer

It’s Game Dey, this shirt is way loser now than when Grace made it for me and I’m stronger now than in March
🧡💪🏽🖤

Now if the Bengals could just pull off a win too… 😬 🐅

Okay @angel, okayyyy!! I see you! Y’all, they absolutely hit it out of the park with this one. 👏🏼

I watched every single episode back-to-back like a woman with absolutely no responsibilities, and now I’m personally offended that there aren’t more. 😂

Fall always has me livin in a Regency-era period drama, and I’m not ready to come back till 2027. by @heather__clymer
