I made this pastel sketch while online with Susannah's Saturday open portrait session @now_draw_ this summer. It was in my back room and kept catching my eye. I hope it catches others 🫩 on Insta too. Junior is an excellent model. by @heatherblumeart

“Collaborations” continues through September 19 @bertawalkergallery 208 Bradford St. #Provincetown. Artscope’s Lee Roscoe, whose poetry accompanies two of the works on view, writes that the opening, “was one of the most fabulous events I’ve ever seen with vital, exciting and fun delights in every room. The evening was jazzy, colorful, soulful, inventive and something to cheer the heart with the creative spirit in these horrible temporal times.”

You can read Roscoe’s full review in the Artscope Online section of artscopemagazine.com.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Monday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. For more information, call (508) 487-6411 or visit bertawalker.com).

Thank you @londondrawing .Such a pleasure to work with artist Kan Muftik using my absolute favorite basic material, vine charcoal. This drawing was inspired by Kan's friend and model, Mifa.

"Repast" and "Volunteer Lilies" both 8"x10" oil paintings are part of the Cahoon Museum of American Art @cahoonmuseum "Great Brush Off" auction.
The online bidding process began on Jun 27 , the auction Garden PARTY and last bidding is on July 11. The #garden property used for this event is alone worth the experience. But taken in it's entirety, this #americanmuseum of #art and #crafts is an absolute #treasure!
Three cheers for the staff, I am so pleased to be a part of this year's event! by @heatherblumeart
