There are some seasons of life you walk through and, looking back, can only say, “That was God.”

Today, I get to honor my husband, Chris, as he steps into his new role as President & CEO of a company and people he cares deeply for.

But honestly, the title isn’t what the girls and I are in awe of.

We are proud of the man who has walked the road to get here. We’ve had the most incredible front row seats all along and have had the privilege of watching him grow, lead, persevere, pray, listen, trust God, and walk boldly in his faith. And there is something incredibly humbling about watching someone you love with all your being, step into an assignment that is so clearly marked by God’s hand.

Chris isn’t just stepping into a new position. He’s carrying forward a legacy that was built long before him and has been entrusted to him for this next chapter. We know he will lead it with the same conviction, humility, excellence, and faith that have marked this journey.

If there was ever a God story that sounded too surreal to be ours, the last four years would be it.

And there’s so much of the story that people don’t see.
So, if you ever want to grab a coffee, I’ll tell you all about it. ❤️
