So, what could have been a disaster became a core memory today. Parker was going to performer “Your Smiling Face” by James Taylor this morning at the talent show and they somehow did not have the track I emailed them. Poor Parker was already so nervous and she stood there and waited and waited and there was no music. She pulled the hosting teacher aside and he said “Dad are you out there? Can you come up?” Her Dad was out of his seat and up on that stage so fast. This video will be played over and over and I will cry every single time especially when we play it at her wedding. Dad of the year for sure. by @heathercarterkacho

I implore you to read this in full and check out the accompanying picture. I haven’t laughed this hard in a long time. If you know our daughter, Parker, you know she is a tiny powerhouse and will be a serious force to be reckoned with when she’s older. Clearly a born leader.
