I know not everyone understands why I share my progress. My fitness journey, the changes I’ve made, the results I’ve worked years for—it can be easy to judge from the outside.

Confidence can be mistaken for cockiness. Sharing your body can feel like “too much.” Celebrating yourself can make people uncomfortable.

But I’m not sharing because I think I’m better than anyone.

I’m sharing because I want you to see what’s possible. Especially as I’m inching closer to 50 years old and in perimenopause I wanted to feel good about myself for myself! Plus I am a grandma now!!

For the woman who feels stuck—you can start.
For the mom who feels like she lost herself—you can find her again.

The last two years, I fully invested in me. I’ve been pouring into myself, showing up, putting in the work, and becoming the best version of me, for me and it feels so damn good. I learned what self-care truly means and I found strength I didn’t even know I had. Most importantly, I learned to love myself on a deeper level than ever before.

I’ve walked through grief, losing my dad and learning how to keep going while carrying that kind of love and loss.

And somehow, in the middle of it all, life gave me something so beautiful—becoming a grammy. A reminder that even in the hardest seasons, there is still so much joy. 🤍🤍 Through it all, I chose to keep showing up. Focusing on my health, my fitness, my healing. Choosing me, even when it wasn’t easy. Cheers to another year of personal growth, loving myself and the life I get to wake up to every day. Feeling thankful 🤍 taken in Norikase by @heatherd_10
