Lean into spaces that attract people ready to put their words out there.

Three weeks ago, I walked into a room of people I don’t know and have already learned so much from them around this book I’ve always loved.

Mixed company moderates. I love being around people outside my zip code, my alma mater, my denomination and my industry. It’s how I keep growing and learning tolerance for the things I don’t understand because of life experiences I haven’t had.

TY @thislandyoga and Amanda for leading this timely conversation. by @heatherdavisokc

To walk is to want it 💥 … renovation already done on this house. First time open in Wileman’s Belle Isle! I will be there from 2-4 PM. Can’t wait to see you!

2217 NW 56th Terrace by @heatherdavisokc

9 reasons to love a house where the work is already done. ✅

1. Walk it.
2. Want it.
3. Skip the contractors.
4. Skip the dust.
5. Skip the wait.
6. It’s already done.
7. Just move in.
8. Come see it Sunday 2–4.
9. I’ll show you around.

This is the one where you don’t have to imagine what it could be. The updates have been made, the work is finished and it’s ready to enjoy now.

And when it comes to Belle Isle, we live it, love it and sell it more than anyone else. Year after year.

2217 NW 56th Terrace | Belle Isle
OPEN SUNDAY | 2–4 PM by @heatherdavisokc

SOLD | 2505 NW 58th Pl | Belle Isle West

Some houses sell quickly. Others ask you to stay with them a little longer.

This one took patience, a few adjustments along the way, and a seller who trusted the process from out of town. And then the right buyer walked through the door.

That’s the part of real estate I don’t think gets talked about enough. Sometimes the work is getting a house ready. Sometimes it’s knowing what to change. And sometimes it’s simply staying the course until the right person sees what you’ve seen all along.

So happy to have this one SOLD and headed to its next chapter with buyers who love it. @annebloomquist_realtor I appreciate your work in helping them on the buy side.

And a special thank you to Sally for the introduction and Kate for trusting me to be her eyes and ears in OKC.

When it comes to Belle Isle, we live it, love it and sell it… year after year. And we are prepping more neighborhood listings now ➡️

The last of three Edgemere Park homes I’ve sold for this family. ❤️

This one feels especially personal. Mom and Grandma lived here, with her adult children and grandchildren just steps away. Over the years of selling these homes, clients became friends.

Alan and I understand the attachment. We both have our years of living in Edgemere too. Homes sell. Addresses change. But the friendships and the connection to a neighborhood can last a lifetime. Once Edgemere Park, always Edgemere Park.

Special thanks to Whitney for connecting us years ago and to Ava for working as my intern this summer on this property. I thought of you as we closed. by @heatherdavisokc

From 1-6 and 1-5… to a WIN. 🏆

Reagan and I pulled off the comeback today - double tiebreaker and all. And THAT OKLAHOMA WIND 💨 was an opponent of its own.

Just a little Monday reminder: things can look pretty hopeless 😂… and still turn around. Steady play definitely made us win.

Hope that’s good momentum for our week! Back to real estate for us both. @reaganakin by @heatherdavisokc

📚 Love Anne Lamott books? Yay, me too!

She’s coming to downtown OKC the evening of November 5th, and I’m so excited. I love REAL, “life isn’t perfect, so let’s help each other” kind of authors, and I also love the way she weaves her spiritual life into all of it.

And the group bringing the fabulous Anne to town… the Single Parent Scholarship Program. The last event of theirs I attended featured Stephanie Land, author of Maid, at St. Luke’s, and it was wonderful.

Plus, Executive Director Julie Muslow Leclercq always puts her own special touch on these events. This should be a good one!

General admission: $50
Student admission: $20

Plus a chance to donate in honor of someone if you choose. I honored my dear friend Lisa Mirick - who loved reading, buying, displaying, and as she said “smelling” books. So grateful she expanded my reach on what I read during her years on this earth!

I’ve been waiting a month to share this one! Look what we just listed! As much as I love words, the pictures really do show this one better than I can describe it.

Wileman’s Belle Isle is known for its storybook homes, but its original stacked-stone cottages are in a class of their own. And finding one this completely updated is unusual. The big projects are done, including the mechanical systems, but just as importantly, the renovations were done with fabulous taste that will appeal to a lot of people. If you love the character of an older home but don’t want to take on the renovation yourself, this one is special.

A major 2021 renovation included a customized kitchen with quartzite countertops and both bathrooms rebuilt from the studs. The guest bath was redesigned as an en suite, and the primary bath is unusually spacious for a home of this era. Hickory floors, updated HVAC, electrical and plumbing, replacement windows, a new exterior sewer line and an in-ground storm shelter are among the many additional improvements.

Outside, there’s a great backyard and patio for watching the game, gathering around the fire pit or grilling with friends.

And then there’s Belle Isle… an engaged, walkable neighborhood with neighborhood socials, a library, park and tennis courts nearby. Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Nichols Hills Plaza and Classen Curve are all less than two miles away.

Address: 2217 NW 56th Terrace
SF: 2118 mol
3 bed | 2 bath | 2 living | 2 dining | 2 car
List Price: $580,000
Extensive Update List Available ✅

SOLD | 12500 Chateaux Lane

Sometimes buyers know exactly what they want. And sometimes we figure it out together. We looked at historic homes, 1950s ranches and newer construction before realizing a garden home might be the perfect fit. Less maintenance, a community pool, room to garden…and absolutely no remodeling project.

💫 Then we found this one.

A long ago client referred these buyers to me, but they still interviewed me and three other Realtors. Since so much of my business comes from repeat clients and referrals, they made me sharpen up my “why choose me?” skills a little. 😂 I’m happy to say I won the prize which was working with them!

They’ve made their move to OKC and already love it here. I loved getting to be a part of that.

Special thanks for Cherrye Kelly the listing agent. I love how beautifully we worked together getting across those mountains. by @heatherdavisokc
