POSTS STORIES REELS

Leadership is defined by how we show up when things don’t go our way.
After a colleague passed away, Heather was entrusted with a group of their listings. When a Starbucks in one of those buildings went dark, the opportunity went to another broker. It was a decision she didn’t agree with, but she chose to let it go and keep moving forward.

Four months later, the client asked for a new broker, and Heather got the call. She shared that she takes this work personally because she wants to honor the colleague who trusted her with those listings.

In commercial real estate, deals come and go. Reputation stays. It’s built on the tough days and the small choices nobody sees.

At a recent luncheon, USC Women’s Water Polo head coach Casey Moon shared the four principles that guide his team: joy, compete, mindfulness, and compassion. His message resonated with Heather and reinforced values that matter both in business and in life.
✨ Joy: Finding fulfillment in the people we meet, the relationships we build, and the process—not just the closing.
🔥 Compete: Striving to improve every day. For Heather, that means early mornings, consistent discipline, and showing up for clients when they need her.
🙏 Mindfulness: Making space for faith and reflection, especially on the hard days, and focusing on what we can control.
❤️ Compassion: Treating people with respect, whether they’re clients, tenants, landlords, or fellow brokers. This industry is smaller than it looks, and how we treat others matters.

At The Resha Group, we believe success is about more than closing deals. It’s about the relationships we build, the standards we hold ourselves to, and how we show up along the way.
We can’t always control the outcome, but we can control our attitude and effort.
What principles keep you grounded on the hard days?

When I was asked to join the panel for this week’s CREW Connections luncheon, my first thought was, “Do I really have enough experience to make an impact? The other panelists are amazing!”

I said yes, and I’m so glad I did.

Our topic was **Building Careers, Creating Impact: Leadership Journeys in Commercial Real Estate**, and I had the true honor of sitting alongside two incredible women. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them, and in just one hour next to them, I learned so much from their journeys and the wisdom they shared so genuinely#.

That hour reminded me of something I needed to hear myself: your story doesn’t have to be finished to be worth sharing. Sometimes the impact comes from simply showing up, being honest about where you are, and learning from the people beside you.

Thank you to CREW OC for creating spaces like this, to our moderator for guiding a meaningful conversation, and to everyone who joined us. I walked away inspired and grateful.

If you’ve been waiting until you feel “ready” to say yes to something, consider this your sign. ❤️

Happy 251st Birthday, U.S. Navy! ⚓🇺🇸
Since October 13, 1775, the U.S. Navy has stood watch over our nation. Today, The Resha Group is grateful for every sailor and every member of our armed forces who serves or has served, and for the families who support them.
This birthday is especially personal for our team. Zachary Francine, Heather’s son and Jim’s nephew, enlisted almost seven years ago as an Electronics Technician (Nuclear), a Navy “Nuke.” After earning his qualifications in Goose Creek, South Carolina, he served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt. Today he’s back where his own journey started, helping train the next generation of Nukes fresh out of boot camp.
Zach, we are so proud of you and grateful for your service. Happy birthday to the U.S. Navy and to everyone who has worn the uniform!

Rooftops can tell you where people are moving. They cant tell you if a market is right for retail.🏡🏬

Population growth matters, but its only part of the picture. Demographics, income, consumer spending, and competition all play a role in determining where real retail opportunity exists.

In our latest Market Insights, we look at why retailers are rethinking how they evaluate new markets and what that means for shopping center owners here in Orange County.

Read the full article, Beyond the Rooftops: What Retail Market Demand Means for Shopping Center Owners.

Thinking about how these trends affect your property? Reach out to our team. Wed be happy to talk through what they mean for your center.

Toy Story 5 ❤️ with @zachfrancine The moment I realized that Buzz Lightyear 🚀 & Woody 🤠 are perfectly seen in who my son is….we have loved this series of movies together as a family & it certainly impacted who Zach is today! Buzz- brave, a deep sense of duty, and a tendency to take his mission incredibly seriously! Over the years, he matured, developing a selflessness, compassion, and a strong commitment to his friends & loved ones! Woody- fiercely loyal, dependable, and so often self-sacrificing & looking out for others emotional & physical needs. As he grows & matures he grows through his mistakes and makes life lessons develop him into a stronger more compassionate toy! Zach I love you TO INFINITY & BEYOND ❤️❤️ PS I may have lingering guilt for giving away some of your toys 😆🤦🏼‍♀️😘 by @heatherfrancine

This event is about more than a day on the course. It’s about creating opportunities for physically challenged athletes through the Jake Olson 1880 Capital Endowed Scholarship and supporting the Swim With Mike Foundation.

Together, we are working toward a $50,000 goal to complete this scholarship endowment and help future students pursue their education and athletic dreams.

Every golfer, sponsor, and supporter plays a role in making a lasting impact.

@ianbriski is an incredible young man and we are thrilled to be able to support him through our endowed scholarship that is made possible through this golf tournament. Once you hear Ian‘s story, you realize what a beautiful opportunity we have to impact the lives of college athletes all over the nation that due to illness, accident, and other unfortunate events are eligible for a scholarship that you don’t ever hope to be eligible for. Please consider joining us as a golfer or a sponsor or both as we celebrate Ian and others to come and raise money for the Jake Olson and 1880 capital endowed scholarship!! by @heatherfrancine

The way that Golf with Jake started has a great story behind it and when you see how it all came together, you understand even more what Swim With Mike means when they talk about the “ripple effect”. When Heather gets an idea and sets her mind to it things happen and thanks to a lot of fantastic sponsors and golfers. It just continues to grow. Help us fill the course this year. by @heatherfrancine
