I’m a part of the small percentage of people who came to know, love and follow Jesus as a young adult without having grown up consistently in church or seeing the faith lived out as a kid. I mean…Praise God!!!! But I’m an outlier.

I’m grateful to get to serve the next generation as It’s becoming more and more urgent that we get the attention of our kids and point them toward the a life with Jesus.

It’s humbling and fills me with so much joy to have had the opportunity to sit down with @vernongordon last weekend and share vision for what’s coming for the next generation of leaders and world changers at @thelifechurchrva

If you’d told me years ago that Friday nights with my friends could look like this….I probably would’ve laughed. But God knew this season was coming 🥹

Last night we got to support and serve our brother @jaytoddofficial at WORTHY, a night of worship and live recording, and honestly, I couldn’t be more proud. Watching someone you love walk fully in their calling hits different. What a night. What a sound. What a Savior by @heatherrthomass

It’s the first day of Fall, and naturally, I’m still stuck on summer… I have so much gratitude for every trip, every memory, every laugh and the tan lines I get to bring into the next season from the last couple months, but more than anything, there are stories of Gods faithfulness and kindness toward me that I’ll cherish and tell forever🥹 by @heatherrthomass

The summer I turned 27!!!🐚🌊🌞

this july has been so full, but last saturday was definitely one of my favorite days! From the people I love, good food, playing in the sun all day, to even going inside for karaoke when the rain came…so much joy 🥹

A few days in Ocracoke was exactly what my soul needed.

Island vibes, bike rides, local shops, good food and no concrete plans…if you know me, you know I was in my happy place !

The cherry on top was getting to spend the week with my cousin Hunter, Olivia, and the family, who hosted me so well and made the trip so special🫶🏽

Don’t let summer end without at LEAST a weekend getaway. And if you need ideas, check out Ocracoke! 🐚🐠📖🏖️🩵

A week ago today, I stood in the evidence of God’s faithfulness in awe.

I’ve tried all week to find the right words for camp, and every time I do, they still don’t feel big enough.

All I know is God showed up. He answered prayers. And somehow, I got a front row seat to watch it happen.

I watched kids discover who Jesus is. I watched them carry His light, share His light, laugh until they cried, worship without abandon, and leave different than they came.

I still can’t believe I get the privilege of partnering with God to steward moments like these. It is one of my greatest joys and honors.

Even now, I’m replaying moments in my head and thanking God that He lets me be part of work like this. Thank you for every prayer, every word of encouragement, every hug, every story, and every person who helped make this week what it was.

I believe this week marked the kids.

And if I’m honest, I know it marked me too.

In February I wore pink everyday…just because I wanted to and because I needed an easy goal for the month I knew I could hit.

Beyond finding a way to ‘pink’ every outfit all month, this was 28 days of being intentional styling myself, getting to wear my favorite color, and living fully in my ‘girly girl’😅🩷

Auntie Heat has easily become one of my favorite titles🥹

Let this be a reminder to all the parents (especially single parents) out there that hesitate to ask for help. Your village actually likes spending time with the miniature versions of you. And no, it’s not a burden to watch them so you can have a break. It’s a JOY
