There’s nothing like the beach at sunset 🌅Off camera is my family playing a game of beach soccer, after this we went to the boardwalk for some ice cream, and then we came back for a walk in the beach at dark. We drew pictures in the sand, we hunted for shells, we ran from waves. There’s truly no happiness like the happiness of being together as a family in a new, relaxing, and exciting place 🥰 by @heathershome

Fresh rainbow sand in the sand table and some ice cream cone shaped scoopers mean the sandbox ice cream shop is open 🍦My plan was to add some Pom-poms and sprinkles for more ice cream fun but, you know, the northeast is a wildfire smoke filled mess and we’ve had to retreat indoors all week 😅😭If you’re looking for an excuse to celebrate, National Ice Cream Day is this Sunday! 🍦 We’re serving up some sweet inspiration with fun and delicious ice cream ideas. Why not add some color to the sandbox (or in our case, the sand table)? I used play sand and mixed it with food coloring in a ziploc bag, then set it out to dry for a few hours in the sun. We don’t need screens to have a good time.
