For those who don’t know, my brother-in-law has had an LVAD (left ventricle assist device) for 3 years now following heart damage from Covid + CHF. Our family is asking for support for him and my sister as they begin the next chapter in a long and difficult journey. He has courageously lived with an LVAD while waiting for the opportunity to receive a lifesaving heart transplant. After years of uncertainty, appointments, setbacks, and hope, he is finally undergoing surgery to receive his new heart! 🫀 https://gofund.me/c5cf4814a by @heatherw689

To say that I am so proud of my nephew, @lkai_ricksl would be an absolute understatement. I am proud of him for everything he has done & for what he will do in the future. He has been a role model for not only his cousin/my son, but for his countless friends & teammates. I am so thankful that he is seeing the fruits of his years of hard work & dedication. Today we were able to see him sign his commitment to attend Ohio Wesleyan University in the fall. I know he will go on to do amazing things, and as said today — this is just the beginning. ❤️🖤 by @heatherw689

It’s been 4 days since my fall where I sustained a T4 fracture. I’m not sure how you can tell someone who’s used to working 3-7 twelve hr shifts a week & running a household, that she can’t do any of that 😩 The fact that I’m supposed to be off for at least 6 weeks just does not sit well with me 😭😭 by @heatherw689

Another season of travel baseball is over & we are onto football.
