Parent's weekend in Athens is always a blast! KD hosted another great time where we had lots of fun celebrating with friends! We also celebrated Ava's 20th Birthday last month in the mountains! 🎉🎉🎉So grateful for the time we get to spend together with our girls🩷🩷 by @heatheryscott123

Our sweet Lucy girl went to join Rocco in Heaven. We brought Lucy home in 2010 when Ella & Ava were just 7 & 4 years old. She was our very first family puppy. Lucy brought us 15 years of unconditional love and happiness. She was sassy & sweet, little but fierce and definitely the boss of our Lola, Rocco & Bruno. All of our foster pups kept their distance from Lucy because they knew she didn't tolerate any nonsense 😉🐶.
We have so many special memories with our Lucy girl and we are so thankful for the 15 years we got to spend with her. As it was so difficult to say goodbye, we are at peace knowing she is now pain free in Heaven bossing Rocco around 😉🥰 We love you Lucy Lu!! You were the absolute best girl and such a blessing to our family 🩷🩷🐶

I am devastated that we had to say goodbye to our beloved Rocco💔💔We fought for 22 long hard days attempting to save his life while praying for a miracle. On Friday, 6/20 Rocco went to Heaven where he no longer has to suffer and he gets to chase all the bunnies, birds, squirrels & chipmunks that he wants. Rocco was the most loving & loyal rescue dog that I have ever met. He was found as a stray wandering the streets by a local police officer. He had a broken jaw and wounds across his little body requiring multiple surgeries. Through it all he still loved every human he ever met and just wanted to be stuck to your side at all times. He was our Velcro baby, our snuggle man, the one we fought over every night because everyone wanted to sleep with him. Rocco was way more than a dog to us, he was family. He loved us unconditionally, gave us endless cuddles, made us laugh every day & just brought so much joy to our lives. My heart is broken but I am forever grateful that God blessed us with our Roccoman for the last 5 years. She did it!! We had the BEST weekend celebrating Ella as she graduated with her Bachelor's of science in Nursing!! Ella, I am so very proud of you and all of the hard work that you have put in over the last four years! You have grown into an amazing young lady, and I cannot wait to see all of the great things that God has in store for you! Thank you to UGA, KD and Augusta University for these last four years!! We are getting closer to graduation which means more celebrating!! 🎉 Ava’s signing day is at Mill Creek High school on May 8th at 3:30! We would love for her friends and family to be there to support her! We are so excited to see what all God has in store for this next chapter of Ava’s life. 23 days until graduation!! I can’t believe this time has come! Ava has her Senior breakfast this upcoming Saturday, May 4th. She will be presented with her senior letter book. Thank you so much to those who have taken the time to write something to her. I know it will mean the world to her! From parents weekend with Ella’s sorority to formals and spring break in the Dominican Republic…. I love seeing Ella live out her BEST life!! I am so proud of how she is conquering nursing school, sorority life and having a job all at the same time. I’m most proud of the young lady that she has become and how motivated she is to succeed and achieve her goals. We had a busy February and the BEST part of the month was celebrating Ava’s 18th BIRTHDAY!!🥳🎈🎈🎈
Ava, it has been such a pleasure watching you grow into an amazing young lady. We are praying that this next year will be filled with lots of joy, courage, wisdom and the strength to pursue your dreams fearlessly! Keep loving like Jesus and shining your bright light always ♥️. Ava has verbally committed to play Beach Volleyball for FIU in Miami! I am beyond proud of her for working so hard and chasing after this dream. We are so thankful for all of her coaches that have believed in her throughout the years and have molded her into the athlete that she is today. A huge thank you to @vb_coach_nicole , Bryan Jones and all the coaches @s3volleyball Your help and support have been immeasurable. We are truly grateful for all of you.
Although the thought of moving Ava off to Miami makes me a bit nervous I know that God is in control and He is guiding her path along the way.
