Piranha Pattern! I think it comes from when I was younger and used to watch all these horror movies. There was one about frogs killing a family on a swampy island called Frogs. There was another one about piranha called Piranha 😂 it was a simpler time. taken in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC by @heatherz1010

Road to Nowhere is the title of this impasto painting which can sound negative but it’s meant to be for when you just want to be. Relax and sit with yourself. I find myself watching more and more nature docs on YouTube showing extraordinary places around the world that hopefully the Trump administration & his disgusting friends won’t destroy #midterms 💙 taken in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NYC by @heatherz1010

An 8x10 acrylic on canvas from a photo I took in 2016. I fell in love with the decaying doors 🩵 I checked before painting this and they are still hanging in there and basically look the same, 10 years later! taken in Venice, Italy by @heatherz1010

Summer!!! The beautiful sky, sun, nothing like swimming or even standing in the ocean & taking in the power of the waves, the salty air, laughter & screams of joy 🌊 even the annoying seagulls, boats bobbing in the waves, it alllll = tranquility for me

This is Elephant Friend who I met on safari, Kruger National Park. The elephant was HUGE and in musth and ready to get it done. He thought our jeep may have been a suitable lover so he charged towards us! Luckily we zipped away just in time 🐘
