Surrounded by so much love, laughter, and the sweetest people at my “Tea with the Bride” bridal shower. 🫖🤍

A huge thank you to my amazing sister for hosting and planning such a beautiful day. Every little detail was perfect, and I felt so incredibly loved. Thank you as well to everyone who helped with the delicious food, beautiful decorations, and all the little touches that made the day so special.

To our family who drove 5+ hours, booked hotels, and made the trip just to celebrate Mark and me—thank you. Your love and support mean more than we can ever put into words, and we don’t take any of it for granted.

My heart is so full, and I’m feeling beyond grateful for everyone who’s been part of this journey with us. Now… just 2 months until we’re married. 🤍✨💍 by @heathqm

Four years ago, the military brought us to Portland. We had no idea just how much life would happen here.

In these four years, we:
🏡 Bought two houses and sold one.
🤍 Started a business.
💍 Got engaged.
💼 Changed careers.
🐾 Adopted Rip.
🌎 Made friendships that became family—the best girlfriends and guys we could’ve asked for.
✈️ Made it through one deployment and one very long school.
🌧️ Experienced some of life’s highest highs and some of its deepest heartbreaks, and came out stronger because of it.

We spent time traveling to Germany, Italy, Hawaii, Key West, Moab, California, Las Vegas, and lots of trips to Texas.

The Pacific Northwest has given us unforgettable adventures, breathtaking views, and memories we’ll carry forever.

As grateful as we are for everything this chapter has been, we’re excited to trade mountains for the East Coast and see what this next adventure has in store.

I don’t usually post on Veterans Day because I feel like people do it looking for attention. However, the last year in Portland the military has received a lot of hate and spread of fear surrounding the military. This is the complete opposite of what the military has given to me. The Air Force has brought me so many opportunities, friends, family, and travel. I feel grateful and appreciative of everything it’s brought Mark and I. So here’s to positivity, support and some of my favorite memories these last 12 years. Happy Veterans Day to all my people. God Bless America 🇺🇸 by @heathqm

Year 2024: another hard year for me. A year of loneliness. A year away from Mark, my family, and friends. I spent most of the year away from home alone or with strangers. In fact, in the last two years I’ve hardly slept in my own bed. I spent mostly of it in places I didn’t want to be, doing things I didn’t want to be doing. As much of a toll it’s taken on me, 2024 brought a lot of growth.

In 2024 I became an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force. A goal I’ve had for over 8 years. I became stronger in my career. The small amount of free time I did have, I took full advantage of. I spent more time with my family and friends this year than I have in a long time. My relationships grew to new heights. I travelled to places I never thought I’d go, some I’d return to and some I hope to never see again.

Mark and I attended the rose bowl and watched Michigan win the national championship. We travelled to Hawaii, DC, Baltimore, Moab, Dallas, Austin, and Florida. We celebrated Marcia’s 80th birthday at Disney. Last but not least we bought our second home together in Michigan.

Although it was a tough year, it was one I’ll never forget. Looking forward to moving back to Portland in 2025, the start of Hancock Hideaway, and being with my friends and family ❤️ by @heathqm

Another Birthday, another celebration apart. These never get easier. Unfortunately we’ve spent more days apart this last year than together. The sacrifices this guy makes to support me in my career are endless. I could never imagined a life with such an amazing supporter, care giver and overall amazing human being. One last post….this guy. From day one, he’s been my biggest supporter, motivator, and reason for it all. He pushes me, motivates me and picks me up after I’ve fallen day after day. He takes care of me, our home, and everything in between in all my absences without any hesitation. I wouldn’t be here without him and I truly owe him everything.
