I’ve spent a lot of time on my content journey not posting and not creating because I always felt like my life wasn’t “aesthetic” enough…

and I think a lot of people can relate to this feeling, and then before you know it, 2 years has passed, you’ve done so much with your life, but you still think it’s not enough.

I’ve been this person for a long time, but after making this piece, I’m choosing to be the main character of this movie instead of just watching it 🥀📺

A special little note too anyone and everyone who is either looking to move abroad, has moved abroad, or is currently doing so in this moment because I personally wish I considered these things sooner 🗣️

Do I think these conversations would have changed my mind? Definitely not, but knowing very well I’m not the most extroverted or independent person, it may have been nice to at least have a warning…

I’m thankful to have my boyfriend here with me but still not having a girl around has definitely been a struggle. If I can recommend anything, it’s to not lock yourself inside because you’re scared to meet people.

It’s hard af to connect with people who speak a different language and live different customs but in time, the right person will come along who also needs a friend

(still patiently waiting for mine after 4.5 months hehe)

Grieving the life you had may very well doom over you like a dark cloud but don’t let it fool you. You can miss the life you had and still love the life you’re building.

You’re starting from 0 and have to respect that growth often moves at a slow pace… Rome wasn’t built in a day was it?? 🤷🏻‍♀️

You will be a noone but guess what this means??

You can create a new version of you and it can be exactly what you want it to be and no one there will know the difference 💅

I surely need to take my own advice on this one because the fear of saying something wrong is out of this world…

At least all they can do is either correct you or not understand you, the world doesn’t end (even though it feels like it will)

This part might very well be the leading cause to any or all crash outs…. (It is for me 😳)

There will be a lot on your plate and learning to juggle it all without your regular support systems or comfort will make it 10x harder but you learn to do it somehow

Life wasn’t meant to be easy, change is challenging but also extremely rewarding

The paperwork…. Don’t even get me started 🤭

LEARNING ITALIAN ep.4 🇮🇹🍝

Today’s lessons was just translating random sentences and I’m starting to realize I have an easier time conjugating than I do just remember the verbs 🥹 I also feel like my brain goes blank when I set the camera up to record our lessons soooo that doesn’t help…

the battle is still so uphill but I’m thankful I have such a good teacher 💓 @stefanoalombardo

Ep 3 VERB TEST + conjugations ✏️🇮🇹

I feel like I did PRETTY GOOD if you ask me… considering in English we don’t conjugate verbs based on who we’re talking to, it’s one of the hardest parts of learning Italian (in my opinion)

Being here in Italy for the last 4 months, these are some things I’ve noticed. Seeing the way people live here, socializing, having better affordable access to personal care, and better work-life balance. It makes me wonder why in Canada it’s become normal to spend less time with family and work more just to get by in life.

I’ve always struggled with poor digestive health, a lack of purpose in life, and a weak social system, and while I always thought this was just a “me problem,” I’ve realized that it’s not. It was existing in a system that’s backwards.

I’m just happy that I’ve taken this leap of faith to help me see new perspectives and what could’ve been missing for me 🤎

Also happy to not be eating lab grown meat 🥩☠️
