What would they have to gain from lying if they knew they wouldn’t get rich, and they’d be hated by everyone including some of their family and friends. Being tortured to death and holding your conviction demands that you’re 100% sure what you’re saying is true. I love Dr. Adrian Rogers! He died Nov 15, 2005, but lived a long life, pastoring Bellevue Baptist Church for 30 years in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a mighty preacher and became known all over the world through the ministry he founded, Love Worth Finding.The Bible says “He that winneth souls is wise” proverbs 11:30, and I love how pastor Chris puts it. The proof that the ministry of the Holy Spirit is active in your life is that you have a desire to win souls for the kingdom of God.
