Our debut vinyl LP, Forest Fire, is out! Link in bio.

Heavy drone with dub and experimental influences. For the opening track, we collaborated with Ren Schofield @socialcontainer. He remixed our guitars into a bubbling, swampy, punishing mess that feels alive and fun.

5 heavy years in the making, years that confirmed that every forest catches fire.

Recorded in Catalunya and Portugal with all amps turned up high. Mixed and mastered by @moarock in London, with additional mixing on “Forest II” by @antonvasin.

Play at max volume. taken in Porto, Portugal by @heavydrone_

Very proud and still can’t believe it.
‘Forest Fire’ is featured in @thewiremagazine.

Big thank you to @simon_coates for this review. To your note about the name, it was a joke that went too far. Though Ivan didn’t mind it either.

DOORS 16H

ARM5A and Hekatombe are back to the dirty and muddy sounds next wednesday, join us during the holiday afternoon for another noisy session, this time with:

PETROZAVODSK (PT/ES)

Heavy drone trio based in Porto and Barcelona. They add dub, experimental and improvisational elements to a crushing, drone metal sound.

https://petrozavodsk.bandcamp.com/album/forest-fire

CANÁRIOS MORTOS (PT/EE)

International collective in a constant process of reflection and communication with each other, constructing its music mostly out of different improvisational practices, preferring an empirical approach as well as introduction of unusual sound objects and interactions with surrounding environments

https://canariosmortos.bandcamp.com/

TRASGO (PT)

Experimental Noise Rock band from Porto. Drawing from the concept of the Trasgo - a mischievous goblin from Transmontano folklore - the group channels that same irreverent energy through a blend of diverse musical influences, combined with extreme dissonance and artistic performance.

https://trasgoband.bandcamp.com/album/drenagem-trasgo

RECEPTOR (ATA)

Receptor is the code name for a classified spatial radiocartography unit tasked with uncovering the presence of alien lifeforms through the properties of brutal soundwaves and deep space languages uncovered in extraterrestrial objects
