Sounds better than it looks. by @heavylatte

No matter how sweet it is, the origins are heavy.

In their latest instalment, @officialpowerwolf seems to show us how much they love what they do, and the more they love it, the more we do!

Wake Up The Wicked is Powerwolf 10th album and has all the elements that has made them one of the biggest starts in Metal in the past decade.

The new album comes in a swirly red and with two bonus LPs including their live show in NY and an orchestral version.

Again, packaging is top notch stuff here.

About to conquer the US for their first massive tour, as last time they only played a select few cities. This time, they are ready to spread their holly mass with label mates @unleashthearchers

I can’t wait to see them live for the second time in Los Angeles!

Light but easy to digest, yet incredibly difficult to get to that point.

Every time I hear Soen, I feel like I like them even more. They have a great chemistry that allows them to be heavy, progressive and mellow. Sometimes all at the same time.

It’s also incredible how many albums they have many in such a short span of time, and the best part… they keep getting better!

For those who know… for those who appreciate! Let’s celebrate @soenmusic as much as possible 🤘🏽.

The Eclipse of life is an ephemeral sensation that light and darkness are not forever.

Exquisite in all shapes and forms, @amorphisband albums mature like fine wine. They truly get better with age. Nothing bad to say about this album as one can see the shifts of what Amorphis has become today.

Enjoy life, enjoy music, enjoy coffee and thank you Amorphis!

Time flies when enjoying what live gives you!

Did this album deliver or what?! Technicality and furious riffs while adding a clean melody with all types of Distorted and acoustic guitars with a fretless bass… all to take us on a trip to technical melodic progressive death metal!

Very impressed with this young band, and will be waiting for next album soon.

Day 5, international : foreign (to me!).

Well… this is tricky as hell! 95% or my collection is foreign! I’m a metalhead, US does the minority of metal today in age… so I thought of really something foreign to my usual Scandinavian and European and also foreign to what I usually listen, but still love!

This fits well here. In the challenge, we need to send some music to space, so… to easy? Maybe? But it’s #maythe4thbewithyou so!? And it’s my birthday as well 🤘🏽🎥😎 by @heavylatte

Running out of space! But this is my temple! My entire collection and a coffee to enjoy! 🤘🏽🎥😎 by @heavylatte

Trying to get back to the roots, where the grounds are, and only the fertile will grow with time.

This compilation from @eluveitie_official has some of my favorite tracks from this band, and sure brings me back to when I started listening to them almost 20 years ago.

As one hears these early hymns, one can see the place were they’ll land. And how the future has been more than kind to a well kept seed.

I’m actually watching their show tomorrow in LA, so needed to reconnect with their music. Still invokes rhymes of victory and tributes to the gods of metal, and whatever their pray for in Switzerland…

Get me some folk metal 🤘🏽!

Such Melodies are brought to our taste in no apparent reason.

This melodic death metal album is extraordinary! Hailing from Sweden, the band manages to bring a dark atmosphere with subtle prog Melodies combining from a great melodic death metal album in the veins of Insomnium.

Fantastic technical stuff from the drummer and guitars and overall good musicianship. Acoustic passages, clean guitars, and storming riffs! This album has it all!

I see there’s only 3 LP’s left in their Bandcamp, so hurry!

Enjoyable alone or in a society…

As of now, I’m enjoying my Latte in a Paranormal Evening With The Moonflower Society. Along my many friends thanks to host @tobiassammetofficial . We have invited @ronnie_atkins_official @floor_jansen_official @geofftateomc @iamericmartin @jorn_lande_ @michaelkiskeofficial and a few more…

In case you didn’t know… Avantasia is a project where Tobias Samet (Edguy) branched out by finding his heroes and making music with them. Avantasia now has released 9 albums! Plus some Live and EP’s… they have travelled the world a few times over and play headlines to the biggest metal music festivals in the world. I’m lucky enough to have seen them twice in Anaheim.

The result of this album is pure magic… songwriting is a level yet above, with insane melodic choruses, catchy melodies and speedy guitar riffs and double bass drums. Every single singer here is on my top singers of all time! And they all bring their best.

No review of Avantasia is fair without acknowledging the master work of @saschapaethofficial who works is charm and makes everything sounds immensely amazing.

If you are a fan, what you think of this album? If not… get on it!

Here’s to one day enjoying a latte with Tobias!
