We're so proud of our Mi-Cycle program, which was among three nonprofit finalists awarded a $10,000 grant at the 11th annual "Big Give'' hosted by funder @impact100_metrodetroit. But that's only the beginning as it was a win-win night for us: Mi-Cycle program director @chucknagyphoto's "pitch'' to the crowd about the program's need for a "mobile bike shop'' for youth and school outreach spurred 2025 Big Give nonprofit winner @recovery_mobile_clinic to donate one of their used vehicles to SAY Detroit after the event that will become a mobile bike shop!! Congratulations to fellow finalists/grantees @ellishouse313, @dplfoundation, @theholleyinstitute, and @progressiveartstudiocollective

I really missed riding the Salsa Fargo that I picked up late last season. I’m amazed at how the big 29 inch wheels hold momentum on the paved bike trail. Keeping fairly consistent at the gym and at Rays over the winter made for a really fun ride. Even the almost 18 mph headwind was okay at points. I just dropped the gear and spun. At one point ai was only going 4.5mph uphill into a crazy headwind. It was so beautiful out that I didn’t even care. taken in Flat Rock, Michigan by @heavypedalz

This frame and fork has been through 4 people, including myself (twice). It recently came back to me due to an unfortunate event, so I took it as a sign that I needed to build it up asap and I’m glad that I did. I LOVE my @dittobmx alternating current. This Direct Current has a longer rear end. They call it their “Trail Slayer”. Don’t know if I’ll be slaying any trails but I’ll be doing my best not to case. 🤣😂🤣🤘I seriously feel that these Ditto frames are the best feeling 22 inch wheel frames on the market. Thanks to @albesbmx for the assist. This bike will appear in a longer write up in a future issue of @ruffiansbmx taken in Fitzgerald, Detroit by @heavypedalz

Took a week long break from lifting. Back at it this morning, feeling recharged and ready to keep kicking (my own) ass. Down 15 pounds this year, losing fat while building muscle. My smaller shirts are fitting me better and my bigger ones are way too big again. LFG. taken in Super Fitness by @heavypedalz

Unforgettable visit to Davis Aerospace High School in Detroit! 📚🧑‍🚀✈️

I partnered with @SayDetroit and @HuffyBicycles @huffy_bmx to gift new bikes to all the students through the Mi-Cycle program. This program from @SayDetroit provides bicycles to those who need them in Detroit, helping with transportation and promoting an active lifestyle. 🚲❤️

Touring the school and learning about their programs was inspiring. @saydetroit dedication to uplifting Detroit residents is truly amazing. So happy to be part of bringing joy and the freedom a bike brings to these students! Thank you @heavypedalz for putting all this together. 🫡🥇🤝
