This one is for the Spirit Teams! 3rd in the Nation!!!!!!!
The University of South Dakota Spirit Teams - Cheer & Dance - competed in the Open Gameday Spirit Program Division at the UCA/UDA Nationals in Orlando and we came home placing 3rd in the Nation!
This team has had incredible trust in the vision that @emilycheerio and I had for this routine and I think we can say it paid off. Thank you for every athlete on the floor for believing in the vision and bringing it to life.
This was my first time doing anything in the Gameday realm - not only setting the dance choreography - but helping to formation our entire routine of 47 people was an experience like no other.
So incredibly proud of this team and glad we got to bring the USD gameday experience to the national stage! The only thing we were missing was a motorcycle 😉!
Congrats Coyotes on an incredible win! by @hebdar93

Year 2! The year of lessons and growth… the things I have learned this season are countless. But I am grateful for every single lesson.

This team teaches me how to be better, to push myself to be stronger, to lead them with my example. Some days life gets tough, some days life isn’t fair, but at the end of it all we are a team. And this team will always push to be better and stronger than the day before.

There are great things in store for USD Dance. I am blessed to get to be a part of it.

To my seniors - you have been that shining light on the darkest days. You keep us going, keep us excited, and your leadership will be remembered always.

To all of my dancers - I am proud of all you accomplished and did this season. Every warm up, workout, full out, choreo change was worth it. We came in with big goals and big dreams and got one step closer each time. You have worked so hard for so many things and have so much to celebrate. Keep your eyes on all that you were able to do. No one will ever take that away from you.

To my family - thank you for always supporting me. Through the chaos and stress you are always my constant. Andy makes this job possible no matter what he says. I can’t do it without you.

Cheers to the 25-26 Coyote Dance Team! I am honored to be your coach! by @hebdar93

I just have to take a moment to brag about my team! The @usddance team is truly just such an incredible group of humans!

In the past week alone they all have put in over 25 hours split between practices, games, and a clinic to make for an incredible family weekend!

With a smile on their face and so much love for what they do - watching them inspire all the little ones who joined us this weekend was amazing!

And a Coyote W just adds to it! Happy football season! Go Yotes! by @hebdar93

Next up ….. the 5678! Anniversary recital!

I can truly go on and on about why I love/have loved being a part of the 5678 dance program for the past 14 YEARS- but I will keep it short and sweet!

I am so proud of you @5678strong for creating the space that you have. It is so much more than a dance studio - it is a testament to you; your love, joy, vision, and dedication into making your dreams reality! This place is what it is because of you! by @hebdar93

Worlds 2025…… yet another one for the books! It’s hard to put into words how proud I am of this little studio from McCook Lake, SD. Being a part of this program for the past 14 years, I’ve watched these incredible humans grow from pre ballerinas to worlds athletes! I truly can’t describe the emotions that I’m feeling, I just know these dancers are the reason I do what I do.

I am so so proud of every dancer from our studio who stepped their feet onto the world’s stage this weekend. Front to back - side to side you could feel the energy, emotion, and drive every one of them had. They have worked so hard to be here and seeing them flourish in their final performances is simply the best!

The crazy crew of coaches that @5678strong has pulled together has made for the perfect balance of one another. I’m so proud of us for finding a way to guide these dancers with trust, kindness, respect, and poise. Not every kid gets to have coaches like these ladies!

The gratitude and I love I also share for the parents and families that share their dancers with us is vast. They have trusted us with their children year after year and these girls would also not be where they are without their support systems!

All I can sum up to say is coming home with a silver medal for the studios silver anniversary seems like the perfect end of the 2025 season!

I love our dance family endlessly. by @hebdar93

It is such an honor to be selected by Lisa and her staff and I’m continuously proud of the work I get to do! I also got to share the stage with my incredible boss Melissa Strong!
