Work is underway at Brookside, a multi-unit housing project at 2655 Harrisburg Pike in Lancaster (East Hempfield Township).

The project combines the renovation of an existing farmhouse built in 1846 with the construction of 17 new townhomes across three buildings: a 5-unit, a 6-unit East, and a 6-unit West.

Developed by Oak Tree Development Group, the project team includes @rettewassociates as the civil engineer and @heck_construction as the general contractor. It’s a unique opportunity to preserve a piece of Lancaster’s history while adding new housing to the community. hashtag#buildingourcommunity by @heck_construction

This space was once home to a jewelry store. Today, it has a very different look and feel as the new home of Bavington Clothier.

Heck Construction recently completed the interior fit-out, transforming the space into a sophisticated men's and women's boutique designed around craftsmanship, personal service, and attention to detail.

The finished space combines beautiful finishes, thoughtful lighting, custom displays, and plenty of room to browse, meet with clients, and find the right fit. It's a great example of how commercial construction can give an existing space an entirely new identity. #buildingourcommunity

Maybe @paramountcontractinginc should moonlight as a caterer! In the midst of offering superior ceiling and wall services, they've been known to extend some generous hospitality to everyone on their work sites with a good meal. We had the honor of joining them today at the worksite, and also getting to see some drywall go up. The space is really taking shape, and we're honored to get to work with Paramount Contracting, @heck_construction and everyone else who is keeping this project moving!

Stay tuned for more Showroom updates!

As summer winds down, we're sending off our incredible interns as they head back to campus!

During his time with Heck Construction, Zach Keenan shadowed and supported Dustin Reed, Project Manager/Estimator. He's returning to Millersville University to continue his studies in construction management. Outside of classes, Zach plays goalie for their club ice hockey team.

Brady Harbach spent his time at Heck Construction shadowing and supporting Brad Heck, Project Manager/Estimator. At Shippensburg University, Brady studies business management and plays third base on the baseball team.

Thank you both for your hard work, curiosity, and enthusiasm this summer. Thanks also to Dustin and Brad for mentoring them along the way.

Good luck this semester — go build something great! #BuildingOurCommunity #ConstructionCareers #InternshipProgram by @heck_construction

New steps, new railing, same story. Heck Construction built this staircase for @lititzoutsider with a custom railing pattern that echoes the one we installed inside during the building's renovation — a small detail that makes the whole project feel intentional. #buildingourcommunity

Swipe to see the details, and give this local Lititz staple a follow. 🚲🥾🧗 taken in Lititz Outsider by @heck_construction

Every building tells a story. Whether it’s a growing congregation creating space for future generations or a local business investing in a more productive workplace, successful construction begins with understanding exactly how people will use the space.

At Heck Construction, we partner with businesses, non-profits, and faith-based organizations throughout Central Pennsylvania to renovate, expand, and build facilities that support their long-term mission. #buildingourcommunity
