Atelier Tour - a secret little art world hiding above my interior design studio & showroom. #artstudio #studiotour #atelier #artiststudio #artist by @hedda.pier

FEATURED. I'm so proud of this feature in Residence NL edition 2 2026. This project in Brabant - 'Below the Rivers' - was completed in early 2025. It is one of my favourites for many reasons; the clients were great, I worked with all my favourite suppliers, it was fast paced & challenging, the property was amazing, I got to source a huge amount of furniture, art & lighting and the transformation is stunning. 📷 @marthehoet by @hedda.pier

✨ COVER!

Residence January 2023

Proud to finally share this news! Thank you @marthehoet for the beautiful photography and @amyvanderhoek for your help during the shoot, these were two of my favourite days in 2022! Also @hansecora for laughs and babysitting duties.

I'm so very grateful to the gorgeous @maartjeleek_ too without whom this dream would not have come true!

@lorraine_dunkley @residencenl 🙏🏻

Thanks also to my amazing suppliers, many of you know this was a labour of love for myself and for my family. You went on this journey with us, during the early days of the pandemic, the love and dedication shines through in the results 🤎.

Artist spotlight • Hedda Pier
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m incredibly proud to present the work of artist @hedda.pier in our gallery, a collaboration that feels especially meaningful and truly full circle.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Before dedicating herself entirely to her artistic practice, Hedda was a partner at Avenue Design Studio, where we worked closely together shaping ideas, spaces, and a shared creative vision. Several years ago, she chose to follow her path in art, while I continued to grow the design studio and pursue the gallery. To now bring her work into this new space feels both nostalgic and deeply humbling.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The piece we’re presenting, ‘Bombastic Side Eye’, is a portrait that feels both playful and powerful. Full of personality, confidence, and presence. Like much of Hedda’s work, it holds a beautiful tension between boldness and softness, humour and strength, drawing you in with its expressive character and layered emotion. All properties that perfectly embody our friendship.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This collaboration feels like new energy, shared history, and a reminder of the power of women supporting women.

This table. This table holds all the memories; our wintery puzzle days, gin & tonic, wine and many so many cups of tea. Work emails, laughs with the children, Christmas dinners with family and Thanksgiving with friends - taking turns around this table sharing what we are grateful for. Serious conversations, silly jokes, late night games of exploding kittens and cards against humanity. Mostly smiles but sometimes tears over pizzas, oysters, vegetarian Wellingtons, whiskey, port and trifle experiments. This table has my heart and every time I see it, I feel lucky for this life well lived, and loved, at this table. by @hedda.pier
