Hedda Pier

This table. This table holds all the memories; our wintery puzzle days, gin & tonic, wine and many so many cups of tea. Work emails, laughs with the children, Christmas dinners with family and Thanksgiving with friends - taking turns around this table sharing what we are grateful for. Serious conversations, silly jokes, late night games of exploding kittens and cards against humanity. Mostly smiles but sometimes tears over pizzas, oysters, vegetarian Wellingtons, whiskey, port and trifle experiments. This table has my heart and every time I see it, I feel lucky for this life well lived, and loved, at this table.
