One thing I love when teaching choreography is helping dancers understand the why behind the movement.
Not just moving arms and legs through space, but feeling where the movement starts. Is it coming from your core? Your back? Your glutes? What muscles are creating the movement?
When we move with awareness, every step has purpose. Every line tells a story. Every accent feels different.
