Almost Sold Out! 🎬 🔥 TEEN ACTING CLASSES! Our teen courses are a big part of what we love doing at Heesoms, as they’re all about nurturing and developing the next generation of great South Australian artists.

Led by our very own Don Kountouris (NIDA), students work throughout the term with a brilliant line-up of working Australian actors, alongside Heesom’s own Casting Directors. It’s a pretty unique combination, giving students the opportunity to learn the craft from highly celebrated working actors, while also gaining insight from the people who are auditioning and casting actors every day.

It makes for a real powerhouse of learning for young and emerging actors of all levels.

...and we have 3 places left!

Running Monday, Wednesday or Thursdays 1630-1830.
Classes start this coming week commencing October 12th.

LINK BELOW, and see you in the studio soon!

Lou Heesom was privileged to be at OPENING NIGHT of Death of a Salesman. And what a total triumph!

The sheer muscularity, dexterity, craftsmanship and emotional courage these actors brought to bear in order to bring such weighty material to life was extraordinary. Piercing, poetic, visceral and true perfection. I left as empty, as I was filled!

Thank you to GWB ENTERTAINMENT @gwbentertainment , so much, for having us. And Adelaide…don’t miss out on witnessing this almighty production.

The direction, design, sound, costumes and lighting are so rich and bold in their offerings. And all the performances are truly exquisite.

Congratulations to the entire cast and creative team. Watching such titans of craft pit themselves against each other, against this monumental text, with such ferocity and precision was such a sight to behold.

And a huge shout out to the local cast @lucasardelis @mjsaturn and @jungle_jim666 you were indeed a revelation!! We wept in awe of your total artistry.

We’ve already bought more tickets for closing night. See you there.

Love,

The Heesoms x

We are so proud of our Teen Acting Students!! CONGRATULATIONS to Conor Weir and Tobias Cichero who have just taken out the Best Performance Award at the St. Kilda Fim Festival in the brilliantly crafted short ‘Vandals’ (Director Alex Jeffree, Producer Isis Fabjancic). And Conor wins this award moments after walking off the film set of an iconic Australian Horror movie in yet another starring role!

So proud of our Teen Students and thanks to the NIDA trained teaching of Sir Don Kountouris .... who so artfully coaches these committed young artists into award winning performances like these ones.

Not only are our students graduating from Heesoms and walking straight into acting degrees at NIDA and WAPPA, some are stunning us with their successes on the big screen.

Heesom Proud. Here’s a still from ‘Vandals’ starring Conor (R) and Tobias (L) in action. by @heesomcasting
