Meet Cheterra McCray, our Lil.

In WERE, Lil is drawn into a night of intimacy, tension, danger, and revelation as she begins to uncover the truth behind Jacques and the monster he’s spent his life trying to suppress.

Lil is bold, emotionally intuitive, playful, and dangerous in ways even she may not fully understand, and bringing that energy to life requires both presence and nuance.

With experience across independent film, digital media, and her own filmmaking work, Cheterra brings a dynamic creative energy to the role, and we’re incredibly excited to have her helping shape the world of WERE.

Production begins in May, and we’re crowdfunding now through the end of the month.
