⭐️ It has only taken us 1 week to share this, but around here we don’t exactly specialize in slowing down!

A huge THANK YOU to the Indiana Youth Expo board + volunteers + sponsors for putting on an absolute top-notch show! It was such a great weekend spent with family + friends, doing what we love!

Landrie picked up several class winners + Maebre + Thea did the same + they brought home some hardware in showmanship!

Always fun to watch our kiddos hit the ring + even more exciting to see these sheep continue to come along as we keep pushing toward the fall shows!

Beyond grateful for the people who continue to pour into our crew + share their knowledge + push them to be better! We sure don’t take our village for granted! 🤍

Great weekend + good people + lots to look forward to in the weeks + months ahead!

🌷 May… the month where the calendar looks like a full-contact sport.

School events + sports + livestock + end-of-year chaos + activities on activities + the B I G countdown until summer break! #iykyk

🥴 But around here… weekends somehow stay just as wild as the weekdays.

After a track meet + 2 basketball games 👉🏼 we hit the road to Chillicothe, MO for a fast + furious + fulfilling Sunday!

🤍By far the b i g g e s t highlight of the day was spending time with our favorite retired showman!

Hey Livestock Family + Friends!

Sometimes you put the cart before the horse + apparently we did exactly that 🫠

We jumped the gun + purchased these livestock gates/pens before fully finalizing our setup plans. After changing directions a bit with our layout, we realized we need a different size than what we originally bought.

⭐️ So… our change of plans could be your gain!Amazing setup of wonderfully made pens! by @heidisuesutton

🤍 In case your day needed a little serotonin boost… the pups are still doing their thing!

🐾 For all the ongoing “pup-dates” hop over to Wild Blessings Farmstead + Doodles

Go ahead + share with someone who ‘isn’t looking’ but absolutely should be 😍

🤍 Too good + true not to re-post 🤍

In a world full of suburban sports moms in Lulu,
Be a show mom dressed like Adam Sandler 👏🏼

Some of us were born into it.
Some of us had to learn it all from scratch.
Some of us grew up in different species.
Some of us grew up driving a truck and trailer.
Some of us had to learn how for our kids.
Some of us can back a truck and trailer anywhere you need it — While some of us are still learning — and that’s okay too.

Some of us know pedigrees like family trees.
Some of us Google everything and still show up.
Some of us were raised in the barn.
Some of us walked into one for the first time because our kid had a dream.

But ALL of us…
Show up tired.
Show up dirty.
Show up broke.
Show up worried.
Show up proud.

We wash the whites, pack the trailers, load the feed, fix the fans, flare the legs, wipe the tears, and somehow still make it to work the next morning.

We cheer just as loud for the kid that places last as we do for the banner picture — because we know what it took just to get in that ring.

We didn’t just raise livestock…
We’re raising grit. Responsibility. Work ethic. Humility. Heart.

Behind every kid in that show ring is a mom who
learned the ropes, figured it out, took the criticism, fought the doubt, and kept going anyway.

So here’s to the badass show moms across the country —The trailer-pulling, mud-wearing, gate-holding, prayer-saying, late-night-driving kind.

You might not look like the Pinterest version of a “sports mom” …
But baby, you are the backbone of something bigger. ❤️

And these kids?
They’ll remember who stood in the barn aisle beside them when it mattered most.

A quick stop in Perryville, KY at Acey Show Lambs to admire the babies then we pointed the trailer south and rolled on to Jackson, MS.

💪🏼 In the show ring, it’s never j u s t about ribbons + banners {but those are pretty darn cool too!} It’s also about the grit + the growth + the people who show up to guide our kids through every high + low. Moments like these remind us where we’ve come from + where we can go from here!

🌟 While those moments feel magical, we’ll be the first to admit that the road to them is not always rainbows + butterflies. We’re a full-on family circus! Loud + chaotic + usually missing at least one thing we swear we packed. But the time spent in the barn + on the road together? That’s the good stuff. That’s what keeps us coming back.

💚 NAILE 2025 will forever be one of those weekends we talk about for years. Landrie + Maebre were beyond fortunate to have incredible success + we’re reminded once again how lucky we are to have the best team of folks behind our kids! We’re counting blessings over here + feeling extra grateful for every single one.

🫶🏼 Because at the heart of all of this are the family members + friends + mentors who lift kids higher + the kids who dream bigger because someone chose to believe in them. That’s the real win.

No rest for the weary… or the slightly unhinged. Sheep shows A N D pig shows 👉🏼 here we come!

As the saying goes…
“What a privilege to be exhausted from something you prayed for” 🙏🏼

✨ Playing a little catch up on sharing State Fair memories {better late than never, right?} A couple of our f a v o r i t e showmen had a fantastic week + an incredible cheering section to keep the mood light + the energy high!

👏🏼 Landrie rocked it 👉🏼 taking home Champion Overall Senior Market Showman + then stepping into the Supreme Showmanship contest like a pro.
🌟 Maebre grabbed the Reserve Overall Junior Showman hardware + is already counting down the days until it’s her turn in the Supreme Showmanship spotlight!

We loved the time with family + friends + all the fair chaos. Now we’re gearing up for more shows + more memories + more chasing kids from one activity to the next. 🚗💨

{Pretty sure I might need a clone by October… applications now being accepted!} 😆
