I made a base for my Necchi BU Nora that I’ve been restoring. This machine is definitely made for a table and not a case, but it’s gonna work out. White oak, vintage Singer hinges, finger joints, etc make for a timeless feel. Still a lot of fitting to do, but I’m feeling good about getting this thing finished up real soon. by @heinmadegoods

The complexity of simple details can be deceiving. I want a seat that is tapered from front to back and curved on the top and bottom so that the middle of the seat is about twice as thick as the edges. And the edges need to be consistent from front to back, even though the curve changes evenly along the length of the seat. I don’t even know how to explain it. But I can make it! by @heinmadegoods
