MAJOR. Trying to explain the current amount of happiness running through my veins seems impossible - but I’m gonna try!So - after a rough couple of months dealing with life, I had one thing on my bucket list..get to Vegas and see @katyperry before the PLAY residency ends. Long story short, the stars aligned, the funds allowed, and the next thing I knew I had tickets to the show and a flight booked. Went to the show, got my LIFE…and then…the opportunity of a lifetime happened. In the show there’s a section where Katy picks 2 people to come on stage to dance to “Swish Swish”. Of course, I’m waving trying to get her to see me, along with the amazing amount of people pioneering behind me trying to draw her attention over to me. Then, my heart stopped. “YOU….IN THE FLAMES….” said Katy. My heart - dropped. I make my way side stage, then the next thing I know, there she is. My mother. My icon. The inspiration behind EVERYTHING I have accomplished in my life, right in front of me, asking me about me, asking me about my life, offering me a shot, and then we danced the night away together. This was more than a “cool moment” for me. This was a reminder that no matter how tough shit gets, no matter how hard you might be doubting yourself, the universe has your back and is always in your favor. BOOK THE PLANE TICKET. SHOOT THAT SHOT. TAKE A LEAP OF FAITH. LIFE IS TOO SHORT. Being on stage is my happy place. Being able to express myself is my definition of heaven. Last night, I caught a glimpse of heaven. I had the absolute privilege of meeting Katy back in 2018 for the Witness tour, just before I started my career - she said to me “you are going to go so far, you have a certain star quality about you that I can’t take my eyes off of, but if you keep your head up…you’ll go exactly where you want to be.” 5 years later and after taking that advice, I was reunited with her and definitely have unlocked a new checkpoint in my life. Katy - THANK YOU. Vegas - THANK YOU. Giuseppe - THANK YOU…for believing in yourself always and for never giving up. Here’s to life ✨ by @heisgiuseppe
