🎬 Behind the scenes of Motivation Worship… where soundcheck is serious business 😂

From “stealing each other’s notes” to rehearsing until it’s right, the team doesn’t just show up on Sunday—they prepare, serve, and pursue excellence before they ever step on the platform.

If you asked the team, soundcheck was “terrible” 😭 But despite all the playful criticism and reality-show-level drama, they still stepped on stage and absolutely delivered.

This Easter was different for our household. We didn’t run, we didn’t shout, and we barely sung, but we were surrendered in worship, serving in our first ministry 🧑‍🧑‍🧒

It’s been difficult for us to find the words to describe how we feel about this little one, but we’ll have your lifetime to find them together. Thank you Jesus for giving your life, rising from the grave, and adding this new life to our family safely and with a grace we could never fully comprehend 🙌🏽

“O storm-battered city, troubled and desolate! I will rebuild you with precious jewels and make your foundations from lapis lazuli. I will make your towers of sparkling rubies, your gates of shining gems, and your walls of precious stones. I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.” Isaiah 54:11-13 (NLT)

This Christmas we’re celebrating everything He’s been faithful to see us through in this challenging year but we also sit in anticipation to meet the newest member of The Scott Family! This was the cherry on top to a year full of TESTIMONY and the fulfillment of PROPHECY! 🔥 Merry Christmas from the duo turned trio including Ne’miah Scott 🫶🏽🎁

What a weekend! I can’t believe it’s only been a year since we’ve joined this beautiful church that is Motivation & it feels like it’s been at least 5! Not to mention being honored by our pastors for our service to the ministry. We are truly blessed to serve under such integrous leadership. We honor you @jasonlaplanche & @sharae.laplanche 🫶🏽

If there’s anything we’ve learned over the past year it’s that we weren’t asking for the wrong things just the wrong people and that’s okay. God knows how to send you what you need if you’ll choose to step out of the boat when He calls you. It’s not easy but it’s consistently worth it 🙌🏽

Almost two weeks later and I’m still being blessed by what took place at The Jesus Experience with the old and new friends I was able to worship with. May God remind you of who He is not only to you personally but what scripture details Him as. Sometimes your reflection on His faithfulness is the vehicle God uses to empower you to continue chasing Him so whatever He said He would do, trust that it’s going to happen because of who He is! His character will always hold up against any storm 🗣️

#ThrowbackThursday to this banger @songsbysherri and I put together. This was by far one of the most thorough bodies of work I’ve put together both by myself or with anyone else. Super thankful for the process and great Spirit-filled friends to praise with 🏝️

Six months ago, we said “I do” and everyday since I’ve chose and will continue to choose you. I love the life we are building, I love who we’re becoming, but regardless of what the future holds, sunshine or rain, know that I will love you the same way Christ loves us 💍

Lately I’ve found myself asking the Lord how to be more impactful with the things I write and what He showed me that this starts with taking my writing as deep as my conversations with Him. Can you relate?
