PICA DEBUT 🫨

Had a freakin’ blast opening up shop with my boy @imminent.ofc playing some grooves to a full house at PICA a few weeks ago for @cloudy.mp3_ and the @240kmh family 🫂

Big love to all involved ❤️

hekkta is a reset.

for a while, i lost the connection i had with the music i was making. i found myself creating because i felt like i had to, rather than because i actually had something i wanted to create.

so i walked away.

the time away gave me the chance to figure out what i actually loved about music in the first place.

hekkta is a fresh take on the cosmic style of techno i used to make years ago. taking the space, atmosphere and many other elements of that sound, and bringing them into something more modern & percussion driven.

it’s familiar in parts, but it feels completely new in others.

a new name, a new sound and a new direction, built from the parts of my old sound i never stopped loving.
