Brisbane, thank you. πŸ–€ One of those nights where everything just aligned β€” the music, the room, the energy and the people. This is what it’s about: growing through the music, connecting cities, people and moments along the way. Big respect to the promoters, artists (@cl3men.tin3 , @winona_router_ and @hybridcell_techno ), the venue @kepk_space and everyone behind the scenes who made it happen. And to everyone who came out and shared the night with us. πŸ“Ί wall by: @e_vintagebrisbane πŸŽ₯: @mttfnly taken in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia by @hekum___visions

Hekum - Dance with the Devil | Previews FLOAT079 Out the 9th of August Hekum has crafted a distinctive musical style within the techno landscape and is set to make his debut on Float Records with β€œDance With The Devil”. A 5-track EP where his avant-garde vision is expressed and gives life to a mystical journey. Industrial ambience and individual elements are meticulously combined together to create an organic phenomenon, one that defies reality. Sharp, atmospheric tones gradually blending into complex textures and crunchy grooves are condensed into an evolutionary process that is state-of-the-art. Welcome to the Float family Hekum. by @hekum___visions

@hekum___ makes his debut solo appearance on the label with "Perception of Reality," an EP that treats distortion not as a break in the music but as its underlying logic. The grooves move in fractured fast-forward, loops snapping ahead of themselves as if time were skipping frames, yet the rhythm never loses its grip, even as it threatens to spill out of sync. Over that broken foundation, the synths operate on their own terms: hypnotic, almost feverish, tracing patterns that loop and warp until they stop feeling familiar. Each layer pulls the listener into a state of deliberate disorientation, where perception shifts depending on where you enter the track. There is no fixed center here. Hekum builds tension through fragmentation and mutation, leaving the listener to reassemble meaning from pieces that never quite lock into place the same way twice. taken in Barcelona, Spain by @hekum___visions

Introducing @hekum___ πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ Built through years immersed in Europe’s underground, Hekum has shaped a sound that feels both hypnotic and intensely physical. Drawing deeply from Spain’s cinematic strain of techno, with artists such as Oscar Mulero leaving a clear imprint, Hekum weaves industrial textures, evolving rhythms and subtle detail into sets driven by tension and movement. There’s a rawness to the music… a sound that should feel right at home within the walls of @kepk_space , where atmosphere and sound take precedence over everything else.
