Rick Owen’s new collection titled “Stone” presented during Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 has triple meaning: elegant stoicism, the stone rolled away from Christ’s tomb as a symbol of release, and the stones we throw at others, which the designer has long opposed. Inspiration: Drew influence from the stone-colored interiors and artworks of Paris’s Basilica of Saint-Clotilde. Key Designs: Column-shaped dresses, steel-grating structural skirts, double duchesse car coats, and a black tulle “brutalist lace” gown. Intricate “Millefoglie” jackets required 45 hours and 200 meters of fabric per piece. Crystal ropes replaced traditional footwear on the runway. I personally love blush coloured pintuck ballgowns. Materials & Palette: Transitioned from beige, grey, and white to burgundy, black, and green, incorporating industrial shipping crate nylon, pure silk duchesse, washed denim, and sulfur-dyed fabrics. Known for his raspy voice, decadent lifestyle, and witty or sexually explicit lyrics, he is remembered in France as a cultural giant—often compared to Baudelaire. Serge Gainsbourg shifted from jazz, piano bar playing, and traditional French chanson to provocative pop, rock, reggae, and electronic music and wrote over 550 songs and numerous film scores. The song “Charlotte for Ever”is based on beautiful music of Aram Khachaturian “Andantino “ and is avant-garde exploration of paternal co-dependency, boundaries of art, and deliberate public provocation… by @hel_evique
Happy to visit and cover the joint show of two avantgarde brands from South Korea within framework of Paris Fashion week SS27 (@wconceptkorea) ASPARAGUS presented collection “Between Boundaries, Within Tension”. It’s all about playing with boundaries between inside and outside. For example, the hat challenged its own boundaries through a disrupted silhouette and necklace plays with the double faces, revealing two sides of a single object. Each element moves between inside and outside and create his tension and sudden balance. BONBOM presented collection ‘Optimistic Fetishism” exploring the relationship between the human body, clothing, and individual expression through a playful and youthful lens. A balance of sensuality and strength, combining fitted tailoring, exaggerated silhouettes, and deconstructed details. Overall audience was impressed by stylish avant-garde, sculptural forms, and deconstructed silhouettes that blur gender lines of both brands. MaXhosa Africa made history at Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027 on September 28, 2026, by staging its first full runway show on the official Paris Fashion Week calendar. I was inspired and energised by their super vivid rainbow collection presented in the residency of South African embassador in Paris. Collection Name, Izihlwele Zivumile, means “The Ancestors Have Approved”. 54 looks presented on a woven straw mat catwalk.Multi-coloured knitted labels and details featuring the names of African countries to celebrate unity. It was powerful and beautiful voice of consolidated Africa. Just to add that current participation marked the brand’s sixth season in Paris and made MaXhosa the first South African brand to host a full runway show on the official Paris Fashion Week womenswear ready-to-wear calendar. “Tell the truth”presented for SS27 Womenswear new Collection “DELILAH” inspired by biblical story of Samson and Delilah, exploring themes of seduction, strength, vulnerability, desire, betrayal and power. Feminine and masculine codes intersect throughout the wardrobe, creating silhouettes that move between softness and force. TELL THE TRUTH’s continued exploration of contemporary luxury through a rebellious lens. Deep grays, heavy blacks, and striking reds accented by metallic hardware and raw, industrial textures. To protect exclusivity, key garments and leather goods are manufactured in micro-batches (often fewer than two dozen per style). ____________________________________________ Photo: Hel Evique Brand: Tell the Truth / Eyewear: Sun Suns /Jewelry: Elle Irwin Jewelry Event: Milan Fashion week SS27, Sep 26 by @hel_evique
I have combined two collections below in a single post as often feel invisible ties. Perhaps Black magic? Photograghy : Hel Evique Brand: Miguel Vieira, Collection “Back to Black” /PR: Maximilian Linz Brand “Florania”, Collection “Surfacing” /PR: Fayer Communication Event: Milan Fashion Week / SS 27 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ —Miguel Vieira This brilliant collection is far from representing the absence of light. It built on the contrast between sharp, almost masculine architectural precision (strong shoulders, graphic collars) and flowing femininity. The monochromatic black palette serves as ideal catalyst to reveal shapes, dynamism and the contrast between rigour and poetry. Florania Florania presented its Spring/Summer 2027 collection titled “Surfacing”. The collection was deeply inspired by the concept of “eco-Gothic” and the Romantic Sublime, visualizing a peaceful Italian lake suddenly caught in a violent storm. It aimed to translate raw environmental anxieties into wearable fashion. by @hel_evique

Simon Cracker SS27 — “VIA FRANCIA” Backstage, Milan Fashion Week 25.09.26 Photographer: Hel Evique Brand: Simon Cracker Event: Milan Fashion Week SS27 Piazza Tomasi di Lampedusa, Milán Sep 26 @simoncracker @simone.botte @fayercommunication @lineapelledesignersedition MUA @maurizio_calcagno & team Hair @gaiacurletto_hair @franco_curletto The Simon Cracker Spring/Summer 2027 collection, titled “Via Francia”, is a radical celebration of DIY culture, upcycling, and childhood nostalgia. Unveiled by designer Simone Botte at Milan Fashion Week in September 2026, the collection explores the concept of “poor couture”—creating fashion when you are priced out of the traditional luxury market. The collection is named after the street in Romagna, Italy, where the designer spent his childhood summers. It draws from memories of staging backyard plays with his cousin using old curtains, tablecloths, and garments found in their grandparents’ trunks. Embracing deliberate imperfection, turning imperfection into a design language, the collection relies heavily on handwritten phrases, character drawings, raw fabric edges, multi-layered paint, unexpected accessories come together in a chaotic summer fairy tale, somewhere between childhood memories, grunge and DIY culture. by @hel_evique

I mean, it’s just a beautiful place in the world, and it’s a very hopeful place.” George Clooney On 6th September 26 Venice also celebrated the Regata Storica (Historical Regatta), one of its oldest, most famous, and most spectacular traditional water events. Happy to cover 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the oldest film festival in the world, founded in 1932 by Count Giuseppe Volpi di Misurata. It began on August, 1932, on the terrace of the Hotel Excelsior on the Lido of Venice, originally as the Esposizione Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica.
