POSTS STORIES REELS

Hi, I’m Helena — an explorer at heart, a wife, a mom, and someone who believes life is meant to be lived fully.

For us, travel isn’t an escape — it’s how we grow, connect, and collect moments that turn into stories we’ll tell forever.

From tropical islands to vibrant cities — sometimes just the two of us, sometimes with our little crew — but always with curious hearts.

49 countries so far… and we’re only getting started.

If you believe memories are the best investment, you’re in the right place.

Tell me — what destination is calling your name right now? 🌍✨

🌍✨ by @helena.exploring

We didn’t buy matching rings in Seoul… I made my own instead! 💍🇰🇷

One of the coolest experiences I had in South Korea was creating my own silver ring at @adellain_studio Adellain Jewelry Studio✨

From shaping the ring and choosing the details to chatting with the lovely owner, every part of the experience felt special. It was creative, fun, and such a unique way to take home a little memory of Seoul. 💎

If you’re looking for unique things to do in Seoul, South Korea, add a silver ring-making workshop to your travel bucket list!

🇰🇷 Planning a trip to Seoul? Save this 4-hour Seoul food tour!
We spent 4 hours exploring Seoul with a local guide, stopping at different places, discovering local food spots and trying SO many Korean dishes along the way.
From markets and street food to little local spots we probably wouldn’t have found on our own, this tour was so much more than just tasting food.
Some of the things we tried:
🥞 Bindaetteok — Korean mung bean pancake
🤏 Mayak kimbap — tiny “addictive” kimbap
🌶️ Tteokbokki — spicy Korean rice cakes
🍜 Korean noodles
🐟 Eomuk — Korean fish cake
…and so much more!
What made the experience special was having a local guide who showed us where to go, what to order and all the little details behind the food and Korean food culture.
If you’re looking for a Seoul food tour or street food tour, definitely put this one on your list. 🇰🇷
👉 Want to experience it yourself? Book your tour with @ACHEFSTOUR — and come hungry!

Seoul food tour!

24 HOURS IN ETHIOPIA in Addis Ababa.🇪🇹

It was short, but somehow we managed to experience coffee ceremonies, injera, local markets, churches, history, incredible views and some of the most fascinating stories we’ve heard while travelling.

📍 SAVE THIS for your Addis Ababa trip:

☕ Ethiopian coffee ceremony - coffee here is much more than a drink; the traditional ceremony is a social ritual of roasting, grinding and brewing.
🫓 Injera — the famous Ethiopian flatbread is traditionally made with teff and fermented batter.
🧺 Merkato - one of the most famous markets in Addis Ababa and described by Ethiopia’s tourism material as Africa’s largest open market. Expect textiles, spices, food, coffee and plenty of local life.
🐒 National Museum of Ethiopia - this is where you can see Lucy, the famous Australopithecus afarensis fossil, who lived around 3.2 million years ago.
⛰️ Entoto - head into the hills above Addis for higher-altitude views over the city.
🍯 Try Tej - traditional Ethiopian honey wine.
⛪ Explore the churches - Addis has a fascinating Orthodox Christian heritage, with centuries of religious traditions, manuscripts and stories.

24 hours was nowhere near enough - but it was enough to make us want to come back.

Save this for your Ethiopia trip & send it to your travel partner. ✈️

Underrated Bulgaria 🇧🇬 PART 2 - Rhodope Mountains 🌲
Sometimes the most beautiful places are the ones that are still waiting to be discovered. 🤍
Our family escape in the Rhodope Mountains included:
🌿 Nevyastata Eco Trail - an easy family-friendly adventure with breathtaking views, climbing activities and fun experiences for kids 👧🏼👦🏼
⛪ St. Panteleimon Monastery - a peaceful stop surrounded by nature
💧 Smolyan Lakes - one of the most beautiful nature spots in the Rhodopes
🏔️ Snezhanka Tower - 360° mountain views and coffee with a view (6€ entrance)☕️
🏡 @veranda_villa.bar.and.dinner - a cozy mountain stay where we slowed down and enjoyed precious family moments 🤍
After travelling to more than 50 countries, we still believe some of the best memories are created closer to home. 🇧🇬

Which place in Bulgaria deserves more attention?

The best sunset around Lake Constance? 🌅🇦🇹
We found it high above Dornbirn at Karren.
Take the cable car up and you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views over the valley, the Alps and the Lake Constance region. And if you time it for sunset… even better. ✨

If you’re planning a Lake Constance road trip, save this spot for later.

Would you watch the sunset from here? 🤍

Karren.
